As we reluctantly pull away, our hands remain intertwined, a symbol of the rekindled connection between us.

“I missed the person I was when you were with me." A wicked grin spreads across his face, forming that dimple that never fails to bring me to my knees. "I was funnier when I was with you. Definitely smarter as well."

"You keep telling yourself that, Pretty Boy."

“But most of all, we were fucking sensational together in bed!”

“Really? This is part of your twelve steps? Because it's somewhat lacking in sincerity.”

The energy shifts, and Kaan leans in, kissing one side of my mouth and then the other before his lips find mine. This kiss, the first of a lifetime of kisses, is everything I’ve ever wanted or needed. I reach my arms up, one hand brushing across his cheekbone and into his curls, matching his tenderness with my own. We can both feel it. This is a special kind of kiss; the kind speaks volumes without uttering a word.

We pull apart and turn to the breathtaking view as the last rays of sunlight fades away, casting a soft glow over the rooftops and minarets. The sound of the call to prayer echoes through the air. “You know, I think I misjudged Istanbul.”

“Well, it’s about damn time.” Kaan raises an eyebrow, a playful grin spread across his face. “I really love you, Nutmeg.”

“I love you too, Kaan. More than you’ll ever know.”

“You’re stuck with me now.”

We stand there, watching the city fall into darkness, and nothing else in the world matters except the two of us. I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him in to kiss. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

BREAKING NEWS:

It’s official. Kaan is off the market!

After throwing the ultimate New Year’s Eve party last weekend at Browsholme Hall, in Manchester, superstar Kaan and best-selling author, Meg Martin, tied the knot in a private ceremony in front of family and friends, and I was there!

Yes, my beauties. Kaan personally invited me to join in the festivities and let me tell you it was a celebration I will remember for a very long time.

The weekend kicked off with a traditional Turkish “Kina Gecesi” or “Henna night.” Miz. Martin (can I still call her that now?) looked absolutely stunning in a deep red dress with a structured bodice and a dramatic train that hugged her curves in all the right places. She wore no jewellery except for her spectacular 15-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, which Kaan had given her as a 30th birthday present.

Miz Martin’s dress was designed by her friend and up-and-coming Turkish designer, Leyla Soydan. I think we’ll be hearing a lot more from Miz Soydan in the future as well. She was the standout designer from this year’s UK fashion week, creating modern and glamorous outfits that are inclusive to women of all sizes.

And let’s not forget about the food! Celebrity chef Aydin Kaya prepared a mouth-watering five-course Turkish feast that was a nod to Kaan’s Turkish heritage.

New Year’s Eve was a sit-down dinner for 100 of their closest friends and family, but the real excitement came at midnight when the couple disappeared, only to return with a celebrant who married them on the spot! The party continued well into the wee hours of the morning, with even Seven of Crows reuniting for an impromptu concert.

Kaan looked sharp in a black tuxedo, while Miz Martin’s reception dress, an off-the-shoulder French lace gown, also designed by Miz Soydan, had a soft, sophisticated vibe.

It has been reported that the couple will honeymoon at their holiday home in Istanbul, which should be renamed the city of love in honour of the couple.

I think most of you would agree that I’ve spent way-y-y too many hours writing about Kaan and Miz Martin’s tumultuous relationship, but right now my heart is bursting with love for them both. Congratulations, Kaan and Meg! You two are truly meant to be.

And in other news…
