His lips meet mine as we kiss gently. The baby squirms in his arms, and he pulls back.

“Hey, I saw her first,” he teases, kissing Alia on her rosy cheeks.

He hands her to me and goes to open the door so we can head inside and I can feed her.

I smile, hugging her tight, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.

“What’s so funny?” Dante says, his hand on the small of my back.

“I was just thinking about how lucky I am.”

He grasps my hips and kisses my neck. “How fast can you feed her?”

I snort a laugh. “Get in line, bozo.”

Since we’ve been living in Rayne’s apartment for the last nine months, I can’t wait to have room to move and a garden for Alia to play in when she’s old enough.

“They said next week. You know how unreliable movers are.”

I turn to him and give him a pointed look. “We need that bed, Dante.” Then it’s my turn to wiggle my eyebrows suggestively.

The electricity between us is always like this, and I hope it will be for the rest of our lives.

I want more babies with him. I want to be his in every single way in this home we built together. Creating memories of our own, it’s something I’ve always wanted.

I hope my parents would be proud.

We’re a family.

I’m a Medici now, or I will be very soon, and I couldn’t be happier.

Love truly does conquer all, or maybe I’m just a hopeless romantic. Either way, this feeling is like falling in love all over again.

I can’t wait to start our new life here.

A slow smile sweeps across his face. “Now you’re talking my kinda language.”
