Chuckling, he turned her around and stared down at her. His long hair was hanging around his shoulders, and she couldn’t resist reaching up to thread her fingers through it to pull him down for a kiss.

Wolf let her control the kiss at first, but it quickly changed into an all-consuming passionate kiss that was completely controlled by her Daddy. He was good at that after all. She preferred to follow his lead.

She was pretty sure with the kiss they were having that he was going to look past his “no pleasure after punishment” rule, but when he pulled away from her and stared into her eyes with a firm look on his face, she realized it had been wishful thinking.

“We’re going to wait until we’re married to have sex,” he informed her.

Giggling, she felt her cheeks heat. “Daddy, we’ve kind of already had sex before.”

He lifted her and carried her into the bedroom to set her down on the bed. Before she realized what was happening, Wolf was getting her dressed in a pair of thick bedtime panties and one of her favorite Little nighties.

“We may have had sex before, but I want to wait and not take you again until our wedding night because when that happens, you’re mine forever, little girl. There’s no turning back, no outs, no divorce.”

Taking the stuffie he held out for her, she clutched it to her chest and then accepted the pacifier he held up to her lips.

“Bedtime, baby. We have a busy day tomorrow going to the courthouse and getting things ready.”

Letting out a soft sigh, she crawled into her spot on the bed and watched as Wolf stripped down to his underwear and climbed into bed next to her, pulling her against his hard body. She fit so perfectly against him. They fit so perfectly together.

“Night, babygirl. I love you,” he murmured.

“Love you, Daddy,” she babbled around the pacifier.

It only took a few moments before she faded to sleep, safe in the arms of her Daddy.

Chapter Twenty- Two

Maddox and Brynn

Maddox

It wasthe day Maddox was going to marry the woman of his dreams. Probably the only woman in the world who could put up with his over-the-top possessiveness and need for control. But Brynn handled it well, and in his opinion, he’d really loosened up a bit since they’d first gotten together. Not that anyone else agreed with his opinion, but he had gone from having two bodyguards on her at all times they were apart to only one bodyguard, so he really was making progress.

Knox, Beau, and Colt were serving as the best men since they weren’t getting married, and Derek had even called in one of the town jewelers to bring a selection out to the Ranch so everyone could pick out rings for the special day.

They’d decided to keep the wedding casual, with all the men wearing jeans and button-down white shirts while the women were all wearing different styles of white dresses, mostly dresses made for Littles, they’d picked out from the boutique on the Ranch.

Derek would marry them all at the same time in a ceremony they were holding outside in a grove of beautiful trees at sunset, and then a reception would be held inside the multi-purpose room in the lodge that Ranch staff had transformed into a ballroom for all the newlyweds.

Leo cleared his throat and reached for Maddox’s hand on one side and Wolf’s hand on the other. The rest of the men all joined hands and stood in a circle staring at the man who’d raised them.

“I love you boys more than you’ll ever know, and I’m so proud of each and every one of you. The women you’ve chosen are each the perfect addition to our wonderful family. Thank you all for trusting me and Ma to bring you into our family. I know she’s as proud of you all as I am. I know Celeste would be proud of all of you too, and I also know she would have loved having all of you Little girls as her sister.”

Maddox blinked back the tears that welled in his eyes. Some of the ugliest things in life could eventually bloom into the best things in the world, and somehow each and every one of the men in their family had overcome so much ugly. But it was all worth it in the end.

“We love you, Pop. We’re so happy you found Claire, and she is perfect for you and for us. We love her dearly, and I know Ma is happy that you’ve found someone so wonderful to love again,” Beau choked out.

They all stood there for several seconds in silence, clearing their throats and wiping their misted eyes before Derek walked in, dressed in pressed jeans and a white button-down shirt with a clean cowboy hat on his head and a polished pair of boots.

“Your Little girls are all looking beautiful. I only got a peek before Sadie pushed me out, saying it was bad luck for me to see even though I’m not one of the grooms,” he told them with a soft smile as he spoke about his wife. “Are you guys ready?”

Nodding, all of the men followed Derek outside to the grove of trees that had some folding chairs set up and a small, decorated arch that Derek took his place under.

Maddox, Hawk, and Wolf stood on one side of the aisle while Leo, Angel, and Ash stood on the other side. Knox, Beau and Colt were at the end of the aisle so they could escort the women down to their future husbands.

The chairs were filled with couples, Littles, and Caregivers. Even though Maddox and his family didn’t really know most of the people who were there, it was still heartwarming that so many people wanted to celebrate this special occasion with them. In a way, it felt like the Ranch had become part of their extended family over the short time they’d been there.

Music began and his brothers started walking down the aisle with one of the women on each arm. Maddox immediately found Brynn’s eyes as she walked down with Beau and Lucy. He didn’t really see anyone else but his girl, though. She looked beautiful with her hair pinned up in an elegant updo with loose tendrils of hair framing her face. She was beaming, and as soon as she was close enough, she let go of Beau and practically ran into Maddox’s arms.
