Ryan smiled to himself. “Great. Say 3:30?”

He nodded in agreement.

“What’s your name?”

“Slade.”

“Well, Slade, I will see you tomorrow. Have a good night, boys,” Ryan called to the rest of the group before walking the remaining steps toward the door. As he pulled it open and stepped in, he was met by Peyton, James, and half a dozen other expectant faces all staring at him.

“Uh hey?” he said nervously. Why were they all staring at him like that?

“Did I just hear you make plans to play catch with Slade?” Peyton asked.

“Yeah? Why? Why are you all looking at me like that?”

A smile split across Peyton’s face. Her eyes shone with something he’d never seen before. He didn’t know what it was, but he liked it.

“He’s not much of a joiner. Mostly just hangs out front waiting for his friends to be done in here.”

“Cool. Hopefully that’ll change.” Ryan glanced outside at the youth. The way Slade leaned against the wall, every muscle in his body screamed don’t fuck with me. The kid had an edge, but the way his face had lit up at the opportunity to play catch, he wasn’t completely hardened. Not yet anyway.

“So, what are you doing here? I didn’t think I’d see you tonight.” Peyton dipped her head and smiled. She raised her head back up and flicked her wrist toward the hall. “You want to come on back to my office?”

“Yeah.” He smiled at the group. “Sorry, I’m stealing her from you.”

“It’s all good, honey.” James waved them off.

He followed Peyton down the hall, his eyes lingering on the sway of her hips. Her fitted pants hugged her ass to perfection.

“Stop looking at my butt,” Peyton said, without turning around.

“Nope, not going to happen.”

He closed the door behind himself when he walked into the office. Peyton smirked and raised one eyebrow as she rested her hip against the front edge of her desk.

Ryan stepped up to her and pressed against her front, loving the way she shivered when his body came in contact with her. He grabbed her hips and hoisted her on her desk, and wedged himself between her legs.

With a little squeal, she clasped onto his shoulders. “Umm, hi.”

He pulled her ass toward him and pressed his hips forward. “Damn, I missed you,” he murmured when she shifted against his cock.

“Yeah, I can tell.” She pressed her hand against his chest. “But as good as you feel. I’m at work and just because you closed the door doesn’t mean no one will come in.”

He dropped his forehead against hers and sighed. “I know. When are you off?”

She grabbed his wrist and flipped it so she could look at his watch. “Holy cow, it’s already 6:00. Give me like five minutes and I can leave.”

“Yeah?” This worked out much better than he’d hoped.

Well, it took fifteen minutes, but it was still a win as they walked across the parking lot. “You hungry?” Peyton asked.

“I could eat.”

“Great, I’ve been craving a mac n’ cheese sandwich all day from The Old Goat.”

“There are so many things wrong with that statement. The Old Goat? That doesn’t sound like someplace I want to eat.”

She rolled her eyes. “Don’t be a snob. It’s amazing.”
