I feel myself on his beard.

I think about someone walking in on him fucking me.

And. I. Can’t. Get. Enough.

He pulls his mouth from me and unzips himself.

He keeps his eyes firmly on mine as he lifts a finger to his mouth in a silencing motion.

When my lips lift into a smile, he leans in close and says, “I’m going to have to keep you quiet, aren’t I?”

I take hold of his neck with both hands and smile into a kiss before saying, “Yes, Mr. North, you are.”

“Jesus, Charlize, I can’t fucking get enough of you,” he says right before pulling me to the edge of the table, hooking one of my legs around him, placing one of his hands over my mouth tightly, and slamming inside me.

I cling to him while he fucks me.

The group outside keep talking.

And Owen silences all my noise while making me come hard.

When we’re done, we both go into the bathroom that joins the boardroom and clean up.

As I’m fixing my hair in the mirror, Owen moves behind me. “I’m going to miss having you here.”

“That’s only because you’ll miss being able to boss me into doing inappropriate things here. Who knew office sex could be so hot?”

“Not me,” he says before kissing my neck.

“Wait.” I frown. “You’ve never had sex in the office?”

“No.” His eyes meet mine in the mirror again.

“But you and Jill worked together for years.”

“We never had sex here.”

I stare at him like I don’t understand a word coming out of his mouth.

“Why not?” I mean, this isn’t weird at all, discussing his sex life with his ex-wife, but I can’t wrap my head around the thought of it.

“Jill always complained I worked too much. The truth was, I did.”

I turn to face him. “Well, I’d just like to say, for the record, that I quite like doing inappropriate things with you, Mr. North.” I stand on my toes and kiss him. “But now, I have to go and drink my coffee while completing the three million jobs Jill has asked me to complete before I finish today.”

“You’re breaking yourno caffeine after two p.m.rule.”

I really like that he remembers the things I tell him. “It’s Friday and I can sleep in tomorrow. Plus, I think a man I know might keep me up all night, so I can probably do with the caffeine.”

With that, I let him give me one more kiss, I rescue my coffee, and I go back to my desk to finish out my time at North Management.

Poppy:I’m having a cocktail to celebrate the end of your work at Owen’s company.

Charlize: I’m about to celebrate in other ways. If I was married, I’d say Owen’s giving me the eye.

Poppy: My mother asked me today if you’re seeing Owen. I have to commend you on keeping a secret from the Winters sisters for three weeks, Charles. That’s a secret-keeping record for you.
