I openedmy eyes and found myself reclining against the back window of my old POS car, Lexi in my arms. I lazily ran my fingers up and down her back, tracing light patterns into her smooth skin. Her cherry blossom scent poured into me, making me feel whole and content.

The city's lights extended out as far as the eye could see. It was one of our favorite spots to visit and watch the sunset. Some days we stayed here all night until the sun rose in the morning.

"Promise me you won't ever leave?" She tilted her head to meet my gaze, but instead of the eighteen-year-old Lexi, it was the present day twenty-eight-year-old Alexis staring back at me.

"I promise,Tesoro."I kissed her forehead, my lips lingering on her skin as I savored the feel of her against me. "You are mine, always and forever. There will be no more running away."

"You broke me, Tony. I didn't even know who I was anymore after you left. It scared the shit out of me, and I just don’t know if I can trust you again."

"I know." I held her tighter. "I know, baby girl. We can help heal each other." I grasped her fingers and placed her palm over my heart. "As I've told you, I've done many things I'm not proud of. Things that I had to do to get you back. My heart is cracked, and blackness has bled in. I need you to make me whole and pierce me with your light. Since I had to leave you, I've been in the dark, just waiting for your light."

"I need your help to make my light shine again," she whispered.

A small smile spread over my lips. "We'll make you shine brighter than the sun."

"We'll make you shine brighter than the sun."

The words lingered in my ears as I jolted up in bed.

The dream was so real, so vivid, that I felt like I was there in the back of the car with Antonio's arms wrapped around me, the city lights laid out before us.

With a heavy sigh, I flopped against the pillows and scrubbed my hands over my face. Why was I so conflicted about this? If I silenced the inner-doubts that lingered in my head, the only thing that remained was that I loved Antonio. I'd never stopped. Even though he left me, my heart had never healed and had never gotten over him.

Now, adding Miko and Cormac, it was like they all fit together to fix the broken pieces inside my heart. With them all, I was whole once again.

"Fuck!" I exclaimed and worked on getting myself out of bed. The bath was just what I needed to relax enough to fall asleep for a nap.

But the dream had just confused me even more.

A knock echoed just before Miko popped his head in through the door. "Knock-knock, Princess. Time for dinner. Let's get up and face the world."

His annoyingly cheerful voice and smile made me want to throw a pillow at his face. Maybe something heavier than a pillow, but that's all I had within reach.

"Do I need to come and carry you?" He asked, moving into the room, his hands on his hips. "We said you had until dinner it was time to face the world again."

I rolled my eyes and reluctantly climbed out of bed.

"Very nice," Miko purred as he saw me in just a thin cami and panties.

"Get out and let me get dressed in peace."

"Nope," he replied, popping the P. "I rather enjoy watching you get dressed, so I think I'll stay right here."

Fine. If that's how he wanted to play it, I would play.

I padded over to the closet, pulling off the cami as I went, my breasts swaying as I moved. I felt his eyes on me like a hot brand piercing my skin. Hell, maybe this plan was going to backfire on me because I already felt myself getting aroused as I shed my panties and riffled through the dresser drawer.

With painful slowness, I bent over and looked in the bottom drawer, knowing full well that there wasn't anything I would wear in there. It was winter clothes, thick jackets, and thermal underwear. But it was fun to give him a taunting view of my ass. I swayed and parted my legs just a bit to allow my pussy to show.

His guttural groan filled the room, and I felt him move closer. "You're killing me right now, Princess." His hand splayed out on my hip and held me in place. He was so close I felt his warmth along my legs. "I know what you're doing. I see right through you."

I turned and looked over my shoulder, my eyes widening as I projected fake innocence across my face. "Little ole me? I'm not doing anything, Miko. I think you must be mistaken."
