Laksi laughed. “Yes. The Blind Date Corp is equal opportunity when it comes to the needs of actives. I am just going to finish my coffee, and then I will give her a call.”

Ados said, “There is no open communication.”

“Oh, don’t worry. If I call for her, she will hear me.” She slurped down her coffee, cleared her throat, and then walked outside.

Kyda got up and ran to follow her. Ados was right behind her.

Laksi walked to the edge of the mist and turned in the direction of Aksalla. She lifted her head, and the air around her got hot.“Thea, the researcher who gathered us would like to meet you. Follow my voice to her super-secret lab. It’s fun. We just had breakfast.”

Laksi turned and grinned at Kyda. “She’ll be here within the hour.”

Kyda looked at Ados and grinned. “Another sister.”

He hugged her and murmured, “Shall we continue the language lesson?”

She grinned. “I think that’s a good idea. That guesthouse has a certain appeal.”

“Really? It will be a lot of work.”

She smiled. “More privacy.”

He looked at her for a moment then picked her up and carried her over to their build project.

He picked up a hammer and whispered in her ear. She grinned. “Put me down, and we can move things along.”

He set her down, and she kissed him before he straightened. She chuckled. “Come on; we need to make our way up to screwing.”

He shuddered, and they began to finish the cladding and work on framing out the interior of the house.

She wasn’t sure that Nandy and Laksi hadn’t heard her moans, but being in a separate building would make getting privacy a little easier, and as soon as Nandy gave her a complete pass for increasing activity, she was going to make use of whatever privacy she could get. She’d waited long enough, and Ados smelledreallygood.
