“She approached me to give me a piece of her mind, not realizing we were twins,” Atlas added in. “We planned a revenge date since we were also mates.”

“Then I had to grovel a bit, but it was worth it,” Dean finished.

“Aw, that’s too sweet,” Grady said, sounding a bit nauseous at our adorable banter. “Did you not talk to each other about it? Sounds like taking her on a date after your brother screwed up his chances would cause a fight.”

“Oh, we barely spoke then,” Atlas said.

“It’s a small world,” I took over. “When I found out that their ex had caused a rift and skipped town, I never imagined they could be Morgan’s exes.”

Grady gasped and leaned forward, fully invested now.

“So, you’re telling me that you somehow stumbled upon the ex-boyfriends of Morgan, the woman who betrayed you and took your pack onMy Fairytale?” he asked for clarification.

“Yes. We didn’t find out until they’d already started talking again. I was, honestly, in shock. At least I didn’t steal men out from under her,” I said innocently, letting a smirk form on my lips.

Grady barked out a laugh. “Ellie has found her spirit!” he cheered. The crowd behind him laughed and whistled, agreeing with him.

“So, tell me, boys, how did a rift form? What happened?”

“Well, at the time she told me my brother wanted me out of the group, he wanted her himself and she couldn’t choose. So, she was leaving,” Dean said.

“And she, of course, told me the same,” Atlas said. “It was underhanded and ruined our lives for months. Our father was sick, which she knew, and couldn’t just leave us, she had to break us before she did.”

“Wow,” Grady said. His voice was now filled with sympathy and his face matched. He was honestly such a good actor. “That’s a new low for her. I’m shocked anyone could be so downright vindictive. It makes you wonder why she did it.”

“I think it was so she could come back if the show was a bust, beg for forgiveness and ‘fix’ what she broke between us,” Atlas said, air quoting along with his words.

Grady shook his head again. “I’m interviewing her tomorrow, I can’t wait to see her side. Am I right?” he called out to his audience. They were yelling out their reactions so intensely it took a few minutes for him to get them back under control.

“So, Ellie, tell us howMy Fairytalechanged your life,” he said, bringing the conversation back to me.

“Well, I think it taught me how to find myself,” I admitted. “I’ve spent the weeks since establishing a new business, finding mates who are genuine, kind, sexy, and perfect for me, and I’m not afraid to stand up for myself.”

“That’s great,” he said quickly. “Do we get to meet mates three and four?”

“Don’t let the alphas hear you put them last,” Dean snorted. Collin would find it funny but Ezra would make a comment for sure.

“Oh, two alphas, you certainly have found a strong pack,” Grady praised, letting out a whistle. “I’m guessing two alphas makes things a bit more difficult.”

“Oddly, no,” I said. “Both are polar opposites, so it works. Where one is possessive, the other is protective, similar in some ways but opposite enough to get along.”

“Wow, aren’t you a lucky omega,” he teased. “After our last encounter, the whole world saw the interview from your parents. How did you feel watching your mother support Morgan?”

“My mother can have Morgan,” I shrugged. “They’re alike. I was never good enough for my parents. Too shy, stubborn, didn’t conform to the life they wanted me to live. We haven’t exactly been one big happy family all these years. I’ve got my siblings, my pack, and some amazing friends. I’m happy where I’m at, without them.”

“That’s a healthy outlook. Overall it seems the Forrest pack and Morgan did you a favor,” he joked.

“Honestly, they did. If not for them showing the world what terrible people they were, I might have found myself in an awful marriage,” I admitted. “Now I’m happy and where I belong.”

“If you could go back and change anything about your experience, what would it be?”

I don’t know why the question caught me so off guard, but it did. The entire experience was hell, but I had to come up with something. This was why I hated interviews, being put on the spot could render me a panicked mess.

“Hm, that’s a tough one,” I said, thinking it over. “I’d have to say I wish I would have taken the time to not just date the pack, but date them one on one. It’s a lot easier to read a person’s character when they weren’t bolstered by a pack or friends. Maybe I would have seen more red flags in the Forrest Pack before wasting my time and letting them break my heart.”

“Well said, Ellie,” Grady praised. “On that note, we are out of time. Thank you so much for joining us… all three of you. I wish you nothing but the best! And make sure everyone tunes in tomorrow when I ask Morgan to explain herself.”

The call ended as quickly as it came and we sat in silence for a few beats, processing the whirlwind we’d just experienced.
