“Ha, ha,” she bit out.

Morgan was growing uncomfortable now. Her face was bright red and she was crossing her arms in front of her chest to cover herself.

Not wanting to do anything I’d regret, I took a deep breath. I wrinkled my nose at the scent in our home. It smelled wrong now. The scent of my pack was cut off by a sickly floral scent.

“Do we have security cameras in this house?” I questioned, looking at Collin. He nodded.

“We even have them up here. I’m going to go ahead and get the sheriff on the phone,” he said before stepping out.

Morgan’s jaw dropped as reality set in. She hastily started pulling on a sundress to cover herself while yelling after him.

“That’s not necessary. You don’t have to do that!” Tears were starting to track down her cheeks as she argued with us. “This is just a misunderstanding. I thought the twins wanted me. I know we had something amazing between us.”

“No you did not, you just don’t like not getting what you want,” I said as I stepped forward. She started to sneer and spit out more venom, but she never had a chance. I cocked my fist back and slammed it into her face. She was so surprised she crumpled to the floor, crying harder than ever. She looked at the others as if they’d help her.

“That’s called self defense,” Bear said. “You crossed an omega in her own nest. You’re openly trying to steal a claimed pack. I don’t think there’s a single court in this state that would prosecute these actions.”

“Get. The. Fuck. Out,” I said, enunciating each word and letting my voice go icy and low. She scrambled for the sex toys and shoved them in a bag she’d clearly brought with her before running out of the house.

“I had a distinct feeling that my mother had a play in this. The bitch likely told Morgan to come here and win them back,” I muttered as we watched her go.

“There’s no excuse for this,” Atlas said as he and Dean offered us support. Bear and I were in the same boat. We’d been violated in the one space that was supposed to be sacred for an omega.

My own tears started to fall. I was too hormonal with this pregnancy for something as intense as this. I moved away from the others, gathering everything she touched, letting my nose track every bit of the disgusting floral scent and eradicate it.

“What are we going to do with all this?” Bear asked as he joined in. The pile was growing, she’d clearly spread her scent throughout the room. The two of us acted like bloodhounds, sniffing out her mark and making sure nothing was left.

Atlas and Dean disappeared for a moment before coming back up with cleaning rags and spray, making sure all the hard surfaces were untainted.

“Did she touch the couches?” Atlas questioned in defeat. We’d already thrown almost everything they just bought away so I couldn't blame him for being worried.

Bear and I both leaned in, breathing in and I let out a sigh of relief at a distinct lack of floral.

“They’re safe,” I promised.

“She was only interested in violating our nesting areas,” Bear said bitterly. “Fucking, crazy bitch.”

“I can’t wait to show this one at the reunion episode. At least you and I get to go together this time,” I said.

Bear laughed, but it didn’t reach his eyes. This was the last thing we needed after everything else we’d been through lately.

Seeing his mood drop again had me furious.

“You know what, no,” I said. “We’re not doing this.” I put an arm out to stop him from walking away. He glanced up, surprised by my outburst. “We worked too fucking hard to put our past behind us to let them snatch it away. You’re nearly mended and now we are going to reclaim our space. Everyone drag these outside.” I gestured to the pile of blankets and pillows we’d collected.

Atlas and Dean put down their rags and helped gather it, everyone following me through the house and out of the back door. I tried my best to not gag at the scent as I carried it outside.

There was a dead patch of grass that hadn’t quite grown back yet, likely from the equipment during construction. For now it was the perfect place for a bonfire.

I dropped my pile and gestured for the others to do the same before I ran inside the shed, coming back with something to get this fire going.

Everyone’s eyes went wide as they saw the lighter fluid in my hand but I didn’t even let them question me before I was dousing the pile. When I was satisfied it was covered I handed it to Bear, letting him add his own.

Sure, I could have simply washed the sheets, but they were tainted now. I wanted them gone completely.

Collin stepped outside with a pack of matches, not bothering to call me on my crazy omega behavior. “This could have probably been evidence,” he noted.

“We have footage, that’s enough,” I told him, taking the box of matches from his outstretched hand. Bear and I each took a match, striking them and sharing a look before tossing them on the pile.
