"You work too much."

He nods, agreeing with me. "I do."

"I guess that would make it hard to have a relationship."

"It does."

His lips press into a thin line. He's been single for a few years, that's all I've been able to find out working for the man for nine months. I haven’t wanted to pry too much, but now I keep plugging away until I find out he's had three semi-serious relationships, none of them lasting more than a year.

Men are idiots. If I had Miles, there's no way I'd ever let him go.

The drawing is coming along great. He really has a body designed to be drawn. The curves, the planes, the hard lines. It couldn't be any more exquisite.

"How long have you been working for Woodward Asset Management?" I ask.

"Seven years."

"That's a long time."

"When I find something I like, I stick with it."

My pencil blots onto the paper. I look up, and our eyes meet. "Is that so?"

He smiles, the skin around his eyes crinkling. "It is."

"Why do you like it?"

"It's challenging and diverse work. Keeps me on my toes. And, you know, I have this PA who's not half bad."

I quirk a brow, and it releases another rumble of laughter from him. His robe moves again, and he adjusts it. I catch the movement out of the corner of my eye since I'm inches away from my pad, detailing the lines on his face, making sure I get them just right.

"In fact, I should probably stop boasting about how great you are."

"Oh yeah, why's that?"

"I've been singing your praises to Debra Bickmore."

"The CEO?" I ask, not taking my eyes off the paper.

"Yeah. Her long-time assistant will be leaving soon. Think she might have her eye on stealing you from me."

"Mhmm." I've managed to capture the intense yet friendly expression in his eyes perfectly. "There." I pull back and smile as I admire my work.

"You done?"

"I am." I shift my eyes to Miles. "Oh… Um."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong."

It's just that the cord on his bathrobe has come undone and the material has moved, revealing… Shit. What's the best way to let my boss know he's having a dickslip moment?

And, uh, is it wrong that I'm noticing how…heftyhis dickslip moment is?

"It's just that…" I wave my pencil in his general direction. "Your robe has slipped a bit."

Miles looks down his body and his eyes bulge when he sees his cock hanging out on his thigh. "Oh my God," he exclaims, but when he goes to move, he collapses onto the bed.
