“Please don’t…please.” She begged and an errant impulse caused my cock to jump. Fuck, what I wouldn’t give to have her begging me to fill her up.

“Stay quiet, wife. They have to learn.” I explained.

I allowed Cole to come in and his eyes immediately flashed to Faye’s before they jumped to mine. There was no fear in his gaze. He must think touching what’s mine no was allowed. It’s not, no matter what any of them think about my bride, be it true or not.

“Cole, my wife tells me that you were a little rough with her this morning. Is that true?”

“Rough?” He scoffs, “We’ve all handled her much rougher.”

“Is that right?” I pressed a hand to his shoulders and shoved him down until he was on his knees in front of the side table. “Did you know I’d married her last night? Did you know she’s my wife?”

“Well yeah but we all know why.” He said as his justification.

They did all know why I was marrying Farrah. They knew that it was just to get a kid and to fulfill my father’s requirements. They should also know not to touch anything that belongs to me without my explicit say so.

“Put your arm on the table, Cole.”

“Boss!” Finally I could see the fear.

“If I have to ask you again, I’m going to chop you up into small pieces and dump you into the sewers.”

“Fuck.” He whimpered but raised his arm and placed it on the table like I asked him. Before he had a chance to fidget around I grabbed hold of his forearm with one hand and with the other pulled the heavy blade up before I brought it down like a clever against his fingers.

“Stop! Oh god, Stop!” He screamed loud as he fought to get his arm out of my grasp.

The first strike didn’t cut through the fingers but it sliced through to the bone. I brung the knife down again, this time breaking through the bone but there was still some muscle and skin holding the digits to his hand. I brought the blade down again and finally his four fingers detached and rolled like uneven vienna sausages onto the marble floor.

Cole swayed hard, his eyes rolled to the back of his head. I used the side of the knife to smack him a few times. “Cole! Cole, I need you to stay with me okay.”

He straightened up a bit when he realized I was using the sharp knife to caress his face.

“The only reason you’re not dead right now is because my wife told me not to kill you. If you ever put your hands… well, your hand now I guess, on my wife again I’ll kill you. I don’t care what kind of relationship you or anyone else thinks they might have had with her before, no one fucking touches her. Spread the word. Save a friend.” His body fell forward as he cradled his mangled hand against his chest.

“Grab up those fingers and find something to clean off this table and my floor. I don’t think my wife likes the blood.” I smirked at him all the while I dared him to grow a pair. Of course he didn’t. He just collected his body parts and stumbled out of the room closing the door politely behind him.

I laid the bloody knife on the table top and turned to Faye who was staring at me with wide eyes.

“You’re a monster.” She declared.

“Oh, baby, you have no idea.”

CHAPTER EIGHT

I watched in horror and disbelief as Cole, the guard, came back into the room with his hand wrapped up and a pail of soapy water in his other hand. He didn’t even look up in my direction. Dominic stood to the side and watched with hawk-like focus. The knife that he used to cut Cole’s fingers off is still on the table.

I expected Cole to pick the knife up and charge Dominic but it never happened. Instead Cole cleaned, with a bit of mauvering, the puddle of blood and the mess he made on the table. He dried it with another towel he had hanging over his shoulder. When all of that was done, Cole picked up the blade, cleaned off his blood and against all reason walked over and handed it back to Dominic.

I couldn’t believe it.

Who the hell was Dominic that he could do this to someone and instead of them rushing to get revenge they’d just fall back in line. What kind of power did he have?

My eyes drifted over to the man who claims to be my husband and I could see the confidence pouring out of him by the buckets. It’s not the phony cockiness that so many people walk around with nowadays. No, it was a confidence that shined out from his entire being. A vital part of his genetic makeup. The type of man that could walk into a room and everyone would know that the alpha had arrived.

My eyes slowly continued to take in Dominic’s body as he was busy watching Cole to make sure the man did everything that was commanded. His gray dress shirt had been opened at the neck and a button more under that. It showed just a peek of the gorgeous tattoos underneath. He pulled his hands up and began to roll his sleeves up which showcased his thick, muscular forearms. Why the hell would I be attracted to the man’s forearms I didn’t know but for some reason as I watched him pull those sleeves up I felt a subtle tickle right against my clit.

Then I felt the pain in my core. The one that reminded me that this man wasn’t just a hottie I pulled out from one of my bad boy TV shows. This man had forced himself on me. He’d hurt me and to date he hadn’t even said sorry. I shook off any misplaced lust and turned my head away from the scene. I didn’t want to see any more.

Once everything was cleaned up Cole took his supplies and walked out of the room without so much as a complaint.
