“No.” The answer drops from my lips. Jake never got to bite me or mark me because I’d always been on suppressors that blocked my heat.
“Of course, not,” he says, his tone turning soft and mellow. “The skin of your neck is absolutely flawless.” Capturing the straps of my dress, he slides them down my shoulders.
The thin fabric easily falls away, baring me to him.
“Your body is gorgeous,” he says, cupping a breast. “Combined with your perfume, you’re irresistible, Aurora. I must have you or else I’ll regret it all my life.”
With a sudden move, he sweeps me off my feet.
My arms flail as I try to grab onto some support. My hands finally catch hold of his massive shoulders, allowing me to cling to him.
A few seconds later, he lays me down on a bed.
The sound of shifting fabric reaches my ears and the next moment, I feel the alpha lowering himself on top of me. My fingers clutch at the sheet underneath as he forces himself inside me.
“It’s incredible to be inside you, Aurora,” he says, thrusting inside me roughly. “No other omega smells or feels as good as you.”
The dark veil over my eyes gives me an easy escape into my mind. As long as I stay locked here, I’ll keep myself from feeling anything. No matter how much he hurts me, I can bear it without showing any emotion.
“I will own you, Aurora,” he says through clenched teeth, increasing his tempo. “No other man will ever touch you again. No other man will ever smell your perfume. You’ll bemine!”
The bed creaks loudly as my body sinks deeper into the mattress under his hard, heavy thrusts.
“Say something, Aurora,” he commands. “How would you like to bemyomega?”
The dominance in his voice forces out a reply from me. “I don’t give a shit.”
A detached part of my mind laughs at the honest answer he’s wrenched out of me.
Thick, hard fingers wrap around my throat, choking me.
My mouth opens wide in a struggle to draw in breath but the alpha doesn’t allow it. He keeps fucking me while I wonder if he’s going to kill me for being so defiant.
It’s not like I meant to do it. I was happy to simply stay silent and let him do what he wants with me.
He’s the one who commanded me to answer him. It’s his fault for being so dominant that I was forced to speak the truth.
The pain in my body starts to disappear. A heavier blackness pervades my senses. I feel my lips curving into a smile as I wait to be completely obliterated.
A rush of air floods my nostrils and mouth as the pressure on my neck suddenly dissipates. My body desperately tries to breathe, making me cough badly.
“You almost made me lose control,” the alpha says through the groans escaping him. “I can’t let you die, darling. Not yet, anyway.” His thrusts grow harder and soon, he’s grunting and releasing himself inside me.
His heavy body falls on me, suffocating me once again.
Despite the discomfort, I stay quiet and wait for him to get off me.
Heaving a sigh, he rolls off me.
It’s excruciating to move, but I eventually sit up. It won’t be long before he rings for someone to take me away.
“Spend one more day here,” he says from a distant corner as he gets dressed. “I’ll take you home with me soon. I won’t let a gorgeous omega like you waste away in a shithole like this. You’ll have all the luxuries you could want in my mansion.”
I feel him moving closer to me, his breath hot on my face. “Tell me, Aurora. Wouldn’t you like that?”
“Will I have my freedom?” I ask. “Can I go back to my family?”
He’s silent for a long moment.
