His fingers gripped and held me in place as he used me. And I loved every second of it. My muscles shook with jolts of electricity and the ache of being drained of all their strength. It was over an hour before I finally gave him what I knew he really wanted.
“Apple.” I wept from delirious overstimulation. “Please. Apple.”
His body stopped immediately. The sweat of his chest was cold on my back as he pulled me up against him.
Ezra kissed my drenched temple and helped me into the bed. Time was whirling either too fast or too slow because what felt like a second later, he was handing me a bottle of cold water. I chugged it down and let it cool my body inside and out with small streams escaping my lips and running over my chest and down my stomach.
“Are you okay?” He grinned down at me from where he stood next to the bed.
I sneered up at him. “Why does it sound more like you’re gloating than actually checking on my well-being?”
I reached for his half full bottle of water and he handed it to me without hesitation, “You’re breathing. Not bleeding. I’d say you’ve fared better than most.”
I let that skip right by and drained the rest of his water. His smug expression only grew more insufferable. I tossed the empty bottles at him, and he easily batted them away.
“Are you going to lie down, or are you waiting for me to leave?” I tried to hide the preemptive disappointment in my voice at the last thought.
The hunger in his eyes could have eaten me whole. “If you’re even thinking about leaving, then my job isn’t done.”
“I’m going to need a nap before round two,” I said.
He crawled over to me on hands and knees and planted a soft but possessive kiss on my lips.
“I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need and more, Pru.”
And I believed him.

Pru had sealed her fate when she’d screamed my name as I’d fucked her raw.
Declaring she was mine and calling out my true name were all I needed to take ownership of her and her soul.
She was mine and would be a distraction and a tool at my disposal. Alessio wouldn’t dare harm a human woman to get to me. It would go against everything he stood for and mark his soul with a bloodred stain. Every demon in Hell who came across his path would be waiting for their pound of flesh.
Speaking of pounding, there was an awful sound coming from the front door.
It couldn’t have been Sitri; he had keys to every unit in the building. My next guess was Eligos, though he wasn’t typically so intrusive.
I unfurled myself from Pru’s arms and pulled on my boxers so I could answer the discourteous lout with decency. The sheet draped over Pru’s ass dipped low, and the slightest view of her cunt peeked out between her thighs. She was exhausted and would be sore when she woke up. But that wouldn’t stop me from fucking her at least once more before feeding her breakfast.
The infernal knocking grew louder until I made my way to open the door.
“For fuck’s sake, Eli, you sure have become impatient since I saw you last—”
“Not this time,” Ipos said. His booming presence silenced me before his words. “I see you haven’t changed a bit. Slacking off while everyone else cleans up your mess.” He took a step inside and looked down the hall at the line of clothing leading to the bedroom.
“And you are still tall and intimidating. Neither of us made room for growth, it would seem,” I said, bored already. “If you’re here to demand I take back my legions and territory, I’m a bit preoccupied at the moment. With being hunted by a saintly priest and all.”
I hadn’t looked around the apartment last night, but it was fairly small with an open floor plan. The living room was the bulk of the space, and there was a kitchen off to the side. Faux brick lined the long wall that connected the kitchen and living space.
In the light of day, the apartment could have used a good cleaning.
I walked over to a cabinet for a glass and filled it with water, watching Ipos as I chugged it without a breath.
“I came to ask the Watcher a question, but Sitri was eager to let me know that you were here. Sounded like he wanted to get rid of you as soon as he could.”
