“Yes.”

I kissed his forehead and whispered, “I love you, babe.”

“Love you too. Master.”

“Oh? We’re back on?”

“Hey, you can’t let me be freewheeling too much. You know how I am.”

“God…I do. I do.”

Chapter Nineteen

With the club's promise looming, we went into high gear on training. Theo wanted to be perfect and show everyone who’d hated him at the opening that he was a good, well-trained slave.

I had ordered some things online for him and then more, not giving him a choice in the wardrobe he’d wear when I took him. He had no idea what I’d purchased, and I liked it that way, though he drove me crazy whenever we weren’t in the role.

“What did you buy? How do you even know my sizes? I’m not just any size that can take things off the rack. Most of all, my clothes are specially made haute couture.”

“La di da,” I moaned. “I don’t care, Theo. You’ll wear what the fuck I tell you to wear. Zombie.”

He stopped with his mouth wide open as he was about to start bitching. He shut it, but his eyes narrowed nastily, telling me exactly what he thought of the situation. Sinking to his knees in the kitchen, His entire being, not just his body, was stiff.

“You’ll love the attention you’ll get if that helps.”

Head back for a moment, he dared to look up at me, and I saw him smiling as he got back into position.

Ryan came into the room, stiff from the workout we’d had the day before, getting the pigs fed, the pens cleaned, and new hay laid in the shelters. “It’s gonna snow. Hate to say it, but I feel it in my bones.”

“That was the farm work.”

“Oh, that too, but fuck, I’m hurting extra.”

“We’ve had a few small ones, but Noah keeps predicting we will get hammered soon. Maybe you’re both right,” I gave him as I pushed the lever down for the toast. “Theo, get up here and finish breakfast. Speaking of pigs, I need to go check on them. It got cold last night.”

“Yes, Master.”

“Ryan, keep an eye for me, please. You’re in charge until I get back.”

“Yes, Master,” he purred at me, then chuckled.

When I returned from checking on the pigs, Theo talked a mile a minute, and Ryan came to meet me by the front door. “About the wedding,” he explained, and I relaxed. “That’s what you said, right? He can get calls for that.”

“Yes, yes, we all want Eli’s and Noah’s wedding to be perfect, and if Theo has any say, and he does, it better all go off without a hitch. I pity anyone that doesn’t do what they’re told when he tells them.”

“His true dominance comes out! Maybe you won’t have to let him be a switch. Let him start a wedding business, and you’re all set.”

“Isn’t that the truth?”

Brett came down, laughing as he heard Theo, and said, after kissing Ryan good morning, “He’s already at it? While you were dealing with the pigs yesterday, he was on the phone or tablet the entire time. It’s going to be beautiful, and not only that, but he’s also making everyone give discounts.”

“How’s he doing that?” I asked.

“Bragging about how rich he is and how many people will come to him for recommendations when the first wedding is finished.”

Pride overcame me; even though I didn’t much like his methods, I knew he was doing it for Eli. They refused to let him pay for it, but the least he thought he could do was save them some money.

“Sweet. I mean, I need to watch how far Theo’s willing to go to make his friends happy, of course, but…”
