“Not happening and you’re not running. No matter what we have to do to get rid of him, Cadee. We get it done.”
I smiled, feeling that affirmation so deeply embedded in my spirit. I knew no matter what she would be right there with me through whatever battle I was going through. But I would never let her do anything stupid that might cost her more than she was willing to pay.
