Sonia looped her arms around him with sudden fierceness. “Okay. Stay.”

Brendan buried his face in her hair and inhaled her scent. When she rolled off of him, he got up to retrieve the scattered pillows and shook out the covers. Smiling, Sonia closed her eyes. He tucked her in, then eased under the covers to hold her close.

“You’re right,” she mumbled into his neck before he drifted off. “It feels good to be together.”

Saturday

6:05 p.m.

Steam lingered in the bathroom as Brendan finished shaving. He ran his fingers over his jaw, feeling Sonia’s whisper-soft caress.

On the counter, his phone buzzed. After a full day of family time, last-minute errands, and airport runs, his texts were blowing up with questions about the bachelor party.

He would’ve loved to send a cut-and-paste reply, but each message required a specific response. There were inquiries about the food, ideas to make the night more wild, and drunk-dials from Hunter and Keith, who kept bugging him to come pregame in their hotel room.

When he checked the latest message, it was from Ian.

Barely seen you, bro. Come hang out with me and Diana before the party. We’re at the hotel bar right now

Drying the last drops of water clinging to his chest, Brendan stared at his fogged-over reflection. He’d hoped to find Sonia before the party began. This morning, she’d once again slipped out while he was sleeping, leaving another note on the pillow. All it had were X’s, O’s, and the initial S.

He’d kept the note in his pocket all day, waiting for a free moment to call her.

But this was a rare opportunity to spend time with Ian and Di.

Shrugging on a collared shirt and slacks, Brendan checked his appearance one last time and headed out.

This time, he took the elevator. When he reached the main floor, he turned down a back hallway, avoiding the family and friends mingling in the lobby. For once in his life, he didn’t want to chat.

Rounding a corner, he bumped into Sonia.

“Whoa there.” Brendan caught her by the waist.

She looked as startled as he felt. Her hand plucked at the strap of her one-shoulder gray dress. “What are you doing here?”

The hallway was empty, but he leaned down to whisper. “Meeting Ian and Diana for drinks.”

“Me too. You think they’re trying to set us up?”

“Absolutely.” He kissed her.

She gasped, slipping her hands around his waist, and his cock stiffened immediately. He kissed her harder, crushing her lips and pulling her fully against him.

“Anyone could walk by,” she panted between kisses. “Didn’t you want us to be a secret?”

“I want you.”

He kissed her until her lips were swollen and her eyes were glazed, then whisked her around the corner into a small alcove surrounded by doors for hotel staff.

When he cupped her tits through her dress, Sonia let out a low cry. Swiftly, Brendan covered her mouth. She held up her wrist with its narrow black watch, waving it in his face.

“What is it? Ian and Diana are waiting?” His hand slid up the warmth of her thigh. “They can wait a little longer, sweetheart. Mmm, no panties. You really are a good girl for me.”

Sonia’s eyes locked on his, hot and pleading, as his fingers brushed her smooth cunt. Her valley was so welcoming as he spread her open. When he probed her pussy, she shuddered, bucking toward him.

“How do you feel, baby?” he murmured, sliding a finger inside her. “Do you like my hand up your dress when anyone could walk by?”
