“I need you,” I rasped as my muscles contracted around him.

“Mine,” he growled. “Only mine. Tell me I’m the only one who gets you like this.”

“Only you, Paz.”

His hands slid down to my thighs, spreading them as wide as they could go and thrusting deeper. “That’s it.” He groaned, his movements becoming erratic. “Take it all. Take everything. Look at me while you take every inch of my cock.”

And I was lost. The wave that hit me crashed hard and fast, sending me into a spiral of shudders and cries that seemed to go on forever. I clung to his shoulders as my body trembled.

As I spiraled, he twitched inside me. The slightest movements were incredible with nothing between us. And it was in that moment that I knew what it was to be possessed.

When I finally came back to consciousness, I opened my eyes, and there, in front of me, Paz was sweaty and smiling.

He dropped his head to my shoulder. “Tell me,” he said, catching his breath. “Tell me what I need to do to make you mine. I’ll do anything to have you forever.”

This was too good. Too right. The way he made me feel. I was such a goner. And it was time to stop fighting it. Because I wasn’tfallingfor him. I had already fallen.

Chapter33

Pascal

“God, I missed you,” I said into her hair, rolling her over so I could see her face. “It felt like you were gone for a week.”

She nuzzled against my shoulder. “Same here. I have so much to tell you. And so much work to do.”

She sat up and scanned the room for her clothes.

I pulled her back down. “I’ve got a lot to tell you too. But getting you naked was my top priority.” I kissed her deeply, relishing the feel of her body relaxing as my hands roamed over her smooth skin. “And now I have to get the piano tuned. Not that I mind.”

“Was that really your fantasy?” She tucked a strand of dark hair behind her ear.

I nuzzled her neck. “Yes. I thought about it so many times. Next time, I’ll eat your pussy up there first.”

She groaned and pulled me closer. This was so perfect. I didn’t want to ever move.

The past day had been torture. Roaming around my empty house had reminded me of how gray and awful my life had been before Parker showed up and turned things upside down.

I rolled, pinning her beneath my hips, and sucked gently on her pulse point.

“Seriously,” she said, squirming beneath me. “We’ve got so much to talk about.”

“Hmm.” I kissed across her collarbone, loving the way her chest heaved as I did. “Let’s talk about how I’m totally crazy about you. It’s literally testing the bounds of my sanity.”

“Really?” She dragged her nails down my back and gave my ass a hard squeeze.

“Yes. I want you here with me all the time. When you’re here, annoying me with your chatter and your bras and your ponytail, I feel like things are the way they’re supposed to be. Like I’m normal and healthy and sane, and life could be amazing.” I kissed her jawline and pulled back. “I’m not the angry, repressed son of a bitch I usually am when you’re here.”

She blinked up at me. “That was oddly beautiful. But I need caffeine before I’ll go another round.”

“Fine,” I grumbled, heaving myself up but dipping down quickly to bite her nipple for good measure. “I’ll start the coffee maker.”

Half-dressed, we stumbled our way to the kitchen, where my laptop and papers were spread out everywhere. Apparently, Parker was rubbing off on me in more ways than one.

“We should talk,” she said between kisses.

With my hand halfway up her thigh, I froze. Those were literally the worst words in the English language.

I dropped my hand and took a step back. “About what?”
