Felix narrowed his eyes. “Agent Robertson, there is no need to threaten me. I don’t take kindly to threats. After all is that smart when you’re standing in my house.”

Felix is afraid of Dorothy. That bitch had brass balls and she knew the power she held.

“Of course, it is Felix. Rest assured we are not alone. For the record, I wasn’t threatening you, just advising you. The CIA has questions, so don’t think about leaving the country,” replied Agent Robertson.

Where is Viktor hiding?

Felix and his men were afraid to do anything to us. After all there was a dead body in his house. After tossing Anya in the back of the car, I pulled off behind Dorothy. The others had shown up to take the dead body, and I knew Felix would attempt to find a way out of this mess but unfortunately for him, his time was now up.

After I undid her handcuffs, I texted Viktor.

We got the packages.

Anya wiggled her wrist. “I was so scared. What’s going to happen to Mila? She needs medical attention.”

“Don’t worry, Viktor’s men are with her and your father won’t have time to attack her nor will he try to. He’ll be too busy being arrest soon.”

“What charges are they going to get him on?”

I shrugged. “Murder, drug trafficking, child pornography and much more.”

She frowned. “Who the hell is calling me?”

She pressed her finger to her lips and then answered the call. “Hello.”

“Bitch you think you’re smart, but I’m not Felix. Come to Bosnia where we first met or Mila is dead,” said Arkan.

“Right after, I give the evidence that you committed all these murders to the FBI. Anya slammed the phone down.”

I pulled off the highway. “What happened?”

“Arkan says I have to meet him in Bosnia or he will kill Mila.” Anya bowed her head and swiped her eyes.

“Love, he doesn’t have Mila. I promise you your sister is safe. Arkan doesn’t want your father to roll over and give him up so he wants to have you as collateral to try to force Felix to not snitch on him.”

“I’m glad my father is going to prison but he didn’t rape me, Arkan did. I want that fucker dead.”

Several hours later, we arrived in Beruit. I was on the roof top with dad, Keelan and Ben. I watched Anya walk into the abandoned building. I wanted to kill someone. Even though we were all here, and it felt incredibly reckless to have her go in there alone. This damn plan required her to be in there vulnerable and at their mercy and I hated it. She was known for being reckless and Arkan was counting on that, but he wasn’t counting on her being here in Beruit. I was counting on him to do what he would do normally, lie, and capitalize on other people's weaknesses.

I put the binoculars down. Kneeling I faced east and I began praying. I wasn't a religious man but right now I could use a miracle.

God, please keep her safe.

“Son, we won’t let anything happen to your girl. Trust us, that arrogant bastard won’t think we are here. He’s can’t fathom that we are intelligent and capable of using our common sense.”

Arkan was desperate and desperate men did very unpredictable things. I picked up the binoculars and looked through them. Dad had several large screens mounted up here with caption so I didn’t need to use them but staring at her through a small lens was intimate and intense.

Resul walked out of the shadows.

He was wearing all black.

I knew that that bastard was in bed with Arkan. He never intended to bring him to justice. All this time Resul, wanted to use Anya to help Arkan. The joke was on him though.

Anya reached into her pocket and removed a disk. “Here is the information I have.” She handed it to him.

Resul looked around. “This isn’t what you have for me. Where is he? Where is Nedim Cejvan?”
