She laughs and throws her arms around my neck. “I’ve never wanted to do improper things.”

I pinch her nipple. “Where should we start?”

She removes my hand, then grabs the shower gel and squeezes some on my chest. Using both hands, she lathers it and extends the soap down over my groin. “We need to talk.”

I close my eyes, enjoying her touch. “I have no desire to talk.”

She kisses me and then turns to rinse her body. “I know. Let’s finish and maybe have a glass of wine?”

I put shower gel on my hands and stroke her back. I kiss her shoulder and ask, “Are you okay with me washing you everywhere?”

She leans against me and laughs. “I guess thorough is good.”

I take more soap and lather her arms before moving to her ribcage.

She moans. “Alex, I can’t think when you do that.”

“You don’t need to think, only feel.” I slip my soapy fingers between her legs, and she leans back into my chest.

This is what I crave from her. Her slippery, sexy arse pressed into my groin, and pleasurable gasps escaping from deep within her. I want her for as long as she’ll stay. I know enough not to want forever. It’s not sustainable. But I do want her right now and for the foreseeable future.

Wanting Clarity (Imogen)

Iopen my eyes to the sounds of seagulls squawking and waves crashing in at high tide. Sitting up, I glance around the bedroom, and there is no evidence of Alex. When I pull the sheet away from my naked body, I smile as I recall his insistence on finding pleasure.

Alex walks in with two cups of coffee. He’s wearing black swim trunks and nothing else. “Hey, you’re awake.”

I pull the sheet back over me. “I thought you might have left.”

He leans down and presses a kiss on my lips. “We’re doing a free dive today at Devil’s Cove.”

I nod and take the coffee he hands to me. “I guess practice is a good thing. I haven’t gone beyond seventy feet.”

He leans against the balcony door frame and takes a sip of coffee. “Today, we’ll go a hundred feet. Do you want to have this on the balcony?”

“Sure. Give me a second to find a swimsuit.”

Alex opens the glass door and takes my coffee cup. Glancing down at my naked body, he says, “You could have coffee like that. I won’t complain.”

I shake my head. “I’m too proper for that.”

His smile widens. “I’m not sure you’re all that proper, Immy.”

I laugh softly and walk into the bathroom. I barely recognize myself in the mirror. Despite slathering myself in sunscreen over the last three days, my nose and shoulders are red, and I can see the faint outline of my bikini on my body.

After brushing my teeth, putting on more sunscreen, and securing my hair in a ponytail, I put on bikini bottoms with a long-sleeved cotton shirt.

Stepping onto the balcony, I say, “I have to buy a hat today and maybe a solar shirt. The sun is ravaging my skin.”

Alex gets to his feet. “There is an awning.” He cranks open a blue awning, providing some shade.

“Thank you.” I take my coffee and sit in the shade.

He stretches out in a chair in the full sun. I admire his bronzed skin without a hint of sunburn.

“There is a local surf shop with hats and stronger sunscreen than you’re probably using.”
