Nonetheless, I have to move fast. Picking out the biggest of the bunch, I squeeze myself into a pair of blue board shorts. Oh shit, this is going to be hysterically tight. They’re way too small for me, and practically have my crotch in a vise. Nonetheless, I manage to squeeze one of my dicks down the right pants leg, and the other down the left pants leg. The bulges are obvious, but as long as I’m underwater, they won’t be seen.

Then, I open the cabana door and peer outside. Good. Jimmy’s still in the house, and Leah’s still underwater. Seizing the opportunity, I practically run from the cabana before diving into the pool, making a huge splash. Safe at least!

When I come back up for air, Leah’s looking at me with a quirk to her smile.

“Are you okay, Killian?”

I cough a bit before shooting the girl what I hope comes off as a nonchalant smile.

“Totally fine. Why?”

She cocks her head at me in the cutest way, her brown curls in dripping ringlets.

“Well, something seems off, that’s all. You sure you’re okay?”

Oh shit. I know she can feel the nervous vibes I’m doubtless sending out, but I stick to my spiel.

“Yeah, I’m fine. No worries, pretty girl. So tell me what’s been going on in your life.”

Leah shoots me an indecipherable look as she treads water, but then shrugs.

“I’m good. Just working as a lifeguard while looking for a real job. I’m also taking a few classes at Allentown Community College, but I still have no major.”

I frown.

“Do you need to have a major just yet?”

She shrugs again.

“Probably not. But still, I don’t want to waste time. You know my parents want me to take nursing classes, right? But I can’t imagine it. Chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, chemical engineering … I don’t even know the difference between those subjects. I’d make for a terrible nurse.”

I laugh despite myself. I love Leah’s sense of humor and her wry way of seeing the world.

“It’s fine, honey. Take your time. No one says you have to have it all figured out by age twenty.”

“I’m nineteen,” the curvy girl says in a perky voice. “I’m not even in my second decade yet.”

“You mean your third decade,” I say with a grin. “Once you turn twenty, you’ll be starting your third decade here on Earth.”

“Oh you!” Leah giggles, splashing me with a bit of water. “You’re always making me feel so dumb, Killian!”

“But you’re not dumb, honey. You’re smart,” I say in a serious tone. “You graduated with honors from high school, and I saw the special commendation by your name in the graduation booklet. You’re smart, sweetheart, and you’ve got a big, sexy brain up there.”

Leah blushes while shooting me a shy smile.

“Thanks, Killian. I appreciate the words of encouragement, although I still don’t know what I want to do. But nursing is definitely out. Anyways, what about you? What’s going on in your life? Daddy says you’re back on the dating market.”

I shake my head.

“Jimmy talks too much, did I mention that? But yeah, I’ve been on a couple dates here and there. It’s nothing to write home about.”

Leah giggles, her cheeks flushed and pink.

“I’m sure the ladies of Allentown are all over you, Killian. After all, this isn’t New York City or Boston. We’re a small town in New Jersey, so the pickings and slim, and my bet is that you’re hot stuff given the dearth of inventory.”

I shoot her a grin.

“I guess that’s one way to look at it,” I say in a dry tone. “I never thought of myself as ‘inventory,’ but I suppose that’s right.”
