“Trust us when we say you’ll beg for another week once we’re through with you,” Nathan adds, winking as they come up the steps too.

His words send chills up my spine, definitely the good kind.

Kai carries me all the way to his bedroom, and I take a curious look around. I don’t think I’ve been here before. The place is a good mixture of black and brown furniture, and it has a gothic feel to it, with a wooden king-size bed with embellishments carved into them and a canopy on top. The whole place kind of has a rustic feel to it, but at the same time, everything looks quite … pointy. But the bear rug on the floor feels awfully soft to my toes.

“Hmm … interesting.”

“You like my room?”

“Like is a strong word,” I muse. “It could do with a little makeover.”

He circles me. “A makeover?”

“Yeah, but I could get used to this.”

A filthy smirk forms on his lips as he stops behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. “Are you implying you’re moving in?”

“I don’t hear you opposing me.”

He leans over and places a kiss on my shoulder. “You didn’t ask.”

The kiss swiftly turns into a piercing bite, and I moan to let out the pain. He tilts my head and absorbs the moan with a kiss, letting me taste my own blood. “Go ahead then … ask.”

“Please …” I whimper from the way he lavishly kisses me.

“Please what?” He bites down again, and I shudder in place.

“Can I stay?” I mutter.

“Hmm …” He groans, licking up the bloodied wound. “I have to think about it.”

Gasping, I turn in shock and attempt to slap him, but he catches my wrist midair, a smirk following quickly. “Ah, ah, kitty. First, I’ll have to declaw you.”

He pushes me all the way to the wall, spinning me around, and we slam into it together. While his hands cup my face, his mouth covers mine within an instant. And I don’t even fight him off, my body desperate to get closer to his.

“Shouldn’t we shower first?” I mutter between kisses.

“Fuck no,” he growls. “Every fucking drop of blood on your body is a mark of honor that I want to praise with my tongue.”

His lips roam freely across my neck.

“You undo me, Lana. You’ve chained me. Turned me into a bloodthirsty monster.”

His lips drag all along my jawline, making my heart rate shoot up.

“And I’ve fallen in love with every single violent inch of your soul.”

Someone behind us clears their throat. “Still going at it?”

Nathan sits on the bed.

Milo closes the door. “Are we doing this here?”

“The first part,” Kai responds.

“First?” I parrot, my tone fluctuating.

“Yeah, you didn’t think once would be enough, did you?” Nathan muses, planting his hands on the bed to show off his raging hard-on. “You caused this. Now you get to deal with it.”
