I continue to push deeper until I hit bottom. Then I slide back out and push forward again. I repeat this several times, pounding into him as I go. He grunts and moans, and I feel the vibrations in his chest as he takes every inch.

His legs tighten around my waist, and his heels dig into my ass. I can sense his orgasm building as he starts moaning and rocking his hips, trying desperately to move his body against mine. "Yes!" he cries out. "Oh fuck, yes!"

I grunt and pound into him harder. Our bodies slap together as I drive into him as fast as I can go. My balls are tightening and my knot is beginning to swell. I'm close. So close.

And so is he.

"Come for me!" I growl. "I want to hear you."

He screams as his orgasm hits. He arches his back and pushes against me, trying to get as deep as possible. I slam into him once more as my seed jets from my cock and pools deep within him. The hot flood fills him and wraps around my cock as my knot seals us together, keeping everything locked up inside.

Caleb's head falls back on his shoulders as he gasps for breath. I lean down to kiss him softly on the lips. "That was incredible."

"You liked that, huh?" I chuckle.

He nods as a quiet blush spreads across his cheeks. He averts his gaze and bites his lip cutely.

"What are you thinking about?" I ask as I reach out and caress his face.

"Just..." His voice trails off, and he looks at me after a moment. "This feels like good practice for breeding season."

My wolf stirs at the mention of breeding season. My primal instincts are awakened by the thought of my mate's pregnant belly swelling with our children. I look down at Caleb as he blushes before me and lays a hand on his perfectly flat tummy.

"That's not very far off." The thought of it is already driving me wild. I've barely gotten over the last orgasm, and my entire body is already primed to give it another go.

"I know," Caleb says with a sly grin. "We should probably practice a bit more, don't you think?"

CALEB

There's a spring in my step the next day. My muscles are sore, my joints are stiff, but my spirits are high.

Jordan's gone back to the office in Seattle to get more work done on his app. Meanwhile, I'm getting started on more home-improvement projects.

I found some old gutters in the shed, and with the help of Kale and a few other omegas, we manage to get those hung pretty easily. The addition of a few old barrels means that we should be able to start collecting water the next time it rains.

It won't be very much, but it'll be enough to wash dishes and maybe a few other things.

All our drinking water has been coming from jugs that I have to go refill at Diana and Doug's house every few days. We've been showering and washing our clothes at their house too.

Meanwhile, I've been lugging creek water up to the house in a bucket so I can wash dishes or mop the floor.

It might not seem like a very long walk, but just wait until you're trying to drag a bucketful of water up the embankment. It's not fun.

My next project is to make some shelves out of a bunch of scrap lumber I found. It's mostly cutoffs from when they were repairing the cabin, and they're all kinds of weird pieces that wouldn't really have a place in normal building projects. Thankfully, with a little bit of ingenuity, I'm able to combine them into some cute, quirky, and rustic shelving units that add some much-needed storage to our little home.

Plus, I get to teach some of the other omegas very basic woodworking techniques. I don't claim to be the most talented woodworker, but wood is pretty forgiving when it comes to making something functional that looks pretty good.

"I just never saw the point in learning any of this stuff before," Kale says as he holds a shelf stable for me while I screw it into the wall of the cabin. "I guess we could have taken an interest in it, but...it never really seemed important."

"So what made you change your mind?" I step back and look at the shelf with a critical eye. It's mostly level. Level enough to support the books I plan to put on it, anyway. It doesn't have to be perfect. No one is going to be walking around the house with a level to make sure it's all flat.

Kale shrugs as he moves to stand beside me. "Honestly, I'm mostly just bored. There's not much to do beyond helping out with the kids or doing chores. I don't have a mate yet, so I don't even have my own space to work on. So when Diana mentioned that you were looking for people to help out, I thought it'd be a nice change of pace. I wasn't really planning on learning anything."

I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"But don't get me wrong, I am learning," Kale adds quickly. "And besides...I saw what this place looked like when you first moved in, remember? It already looks like a completely different building." He looks around the cabin with an eye of appreciation. "You haven't had a chance to see many of the other cabins yet, but trust me, they're all more or less the same when you get down to it."
