“That...,” she whispers, stroking her hand down my biceps, “that was special.” She licks her lips. “You made me feel so cared for.”

Then I did it right and I’m about to give her a kiss when the front door slams. We both freeze up as a voice calls,

“Chuck, I’m back. Where are you?”

Flinching, I look up from Troy’s chest in panic.

Shit, Robbie’s home and I’m buck naked and in bed with his cousin. When Robbie’s ad, specified he wanted a girl for a roommate it didn’t say that said girl should feel free to hit the sack with his relative. Turning red in the face, I scramble while Troy just lays there as if he’s not in a hurry.

I attempt to rise but Troy clasps my wrist and I wince. “Damn it, let go,” I whimper, tugging at my arm and he abruptly lets me free. I roll off the bed, nearly falling on my bare ass and let out a distressed moan when I notice my thighs are sticky with Troy’s come.

And Robbie’s footsteps are nearing...

Anxious, I try to clean myself using my hands but it’s useless. I hurry into the bathroom, snatching wet wipes and use them to wash off before wrapping a fluffy robe around me. Panting, I tie the belt right when Robbie stomps into the room with a suspicious look on his face.

His jaw drops when he sees me with messy hair and marks on my thighs that Troy’s fingers left behind, and then his eyes go to Troy who’s still lounging around.

“Gay cousin Robbie,” Troy grins but his expression is deadly, “long time no see.”

The air seems to punch out of Robbie, and he leans against the wall as if he’s about to pass out.

I hurry to open up the window, but inwardly I wonder why Robbie is overreacting. His face has turned into chalk and for a moment there, I thought he would jump Troy. And okay...yes, this is his house (his parents bought it for him) but it’s not that huge of a deal.

“What are you doing here?” Robbie gravels, staring at Troy as if the cat dragged him in . “I thought I told you to book a room.”

“I must’ve misunderstood,” Troy shrugs. “And your little roommate has been more than welcoming.” He winks at me and Robbie turns a hysterical red in the face, until I start to feel guilty.

“This is so typical of you,” Robbie grits between his teeth and I’m taken aback by the animosity. “You always do what you want, don’t you?”

Troy shrugs. “We can’t all be perfect, gay little boys.”

Wrapping my arms around me, I wonder why he keeps calling Robbie gay but then again I’ve always wondered if he plays for the other team...Flinching, I notice the strained expression on Robbie’s face and I blurt,

“Robbie, why don’t you go downstairs and we’ll join you in a sec?” I drag a hand through my hair. “The three of us could go for a walk by the pier later?” I plaster a smile on my face. “I don’t know about you two, but I’m in the mood for cotton candy.”

My voice is chipper and sort of inappropriate for the tension in the room, but I can’t just stand there and watch them while they look like they want to tear each other’s throats out. Cotton candy seems to be the last thing on their minds but Robbie gives a curt nod, before walking out.

The door slams and I flinch, glancing over at Troy and I let out a low curse.

“What was that all about?” I hiss. “I thought you said you two get along.”

“We do, he just hasn’t had dick in a while and is being a little cunt about it,” Troy says in a humorless tone, sitting up and I’m tempted to crawl back into bed with him. Dang, why did Robbie have to come right at this moment? Couldn’t he have waited until morning at least?

There’s so much pent up energy between Troy and I that we could’ve used the whole night to get our raging hormones under control. Now, we’ll have to fuss around Robbie instead and I’m just as frustrated as Troy is.

Dropping the robe, I pull a calf-length dress in an indigo color over my head, add a pair of earrings then throw on a pair of strappy sandals with a small heel. Troy watches the whole transformation take place with sullen eyes and I can feel his irritation in the air.

My hand trembles when I reach for a ribbon that matches the dress and use it to put my hair up.

“What?” I breathe and a muscle ticks in Troy’s jaw.

“Why did you invite him to the walk?

My jaw drops. “Are you kidding me?”
