Nat nods. “Fair enough. I’ll see you at lunch, then?” She says as she pulls on her blazer.

As always, Nat is the fastest dresser ever.

Camilla rocks up. “Aren’t you going to wait for me?”

Nat arches a brow. “And be late for class?”

She pouts. “I’ll be quick.”

Nat and I both laugh at that. “You don’t know the meaning of quick,” I say.

“I’ll wait for three minutes, but if you aren’t ready, I’m leaving,” Nat says.

For the first time, I witness Camilla dress fast. By the time I’m buttoning up my blouse, Camilla is too. “Wow you can move when you want to,” I say.

She shrugs. “I’m always fast.”

Nat and me exchange glances. “Yeah, right,” Nat says.

I feel a sense of sadness sweep over me, knowing that this is our last year here together. I have to make the most of it, as I know my life is going to take a very different turn once I leave SA.

The time of giving Adrianna suggestive looks is over, as I watch her as she walks across the gym hall in her too tight top and short skirt It’s impossible to stem my desire for her. It’s been just over five weeks since the semester started, and I can’t wait any longer.

Adrianna Vasquez.

The girl I want this year more than any girl I’ve ever wanted in any other school year. Biding my time is finally over, as patience isn’t my strong suit and she’s ignored all of my subtle hints.

She’s brilliant in every single way.

Beautiful beyond compare and the top of combat class, even better than any of the guys in the class. The only person she can’t best is me.

After this lesson, I intend to make my proposition. I will have her in my bed sooner rather than later. However, there’s a niggling doubt in the back of my mind that Adrianna might not be so easy to win over.

In past years the girls I’ve had affairs with have been eager and almost tempting me with their come fuck me eyes. Adrianna is as cold as ice, but I intend to melt that ice and turn her into flames of passionate desire that match my own by the time this year is out.

“Good afternoon, Seniors,” I say, drawing the class’s attention to me, including Adrianna. “And welcome back to combat class. Today, we will work on disarming techniques.” I nod to the cabinet in the corner. “Everyone select an implement.”

There’s a rush, as there always is for the best weapons, Adrianna effortlessly getting there first and grabbing the ever popular long sword.

“Ms. Vasquez, come here and let me show everyone the moves we will be learning.” Even before this year, nine times out of ten, Adrianna was the one I always picked for demonstrations.

Her jaw works as she stands in front of me, wielding the blunted short sword. “I am going to disarm Adrianna. Come at me with a jab and I’ll take it from you.”

A whisper of a smile graces her beautiful lips. “I’d like to see you try, Coach.”

I ready my stance and watch her carefully, as if anyone in this class can best me it’s Adrianna.

She swings her short sword around before lunging toward my left. It’s an excellent move, but I see it coming and move to the left enough so that the sword swipes past me, giving me the chance to grab her wrist, bending it and forcing her to drop the weapon.

She grunts in frustration.

“That move there is one of the easiest yet least expected. Allow your opponent to think they’re going to get you and then flip the table when you disarm them.” I smirk at Adrianna. “Care to try again.” I throw the short sword in the air and she catches it effortlessly.

“Definitley.”
