“Stay still,” he repeated sternly. “You have to learn to listen.”

“Sorry.”

“You will be if you don’t,” he warned, slowly pushing into her depths, then pulled out and began teasing her again.

She wriggled.

He slapped her. Hard. Four times in quick succession.

“Test me all you want, Bailey, I won’t disappoint you,” he grunted, stroking with gusto, then stopping for long seconds before plunging back in.

So it continued, and if she dared to move, he’d slap her backside, and always harder than before. But every time he’d start pumping, it wouldn’t take long before he sensed his climax building.

“Rick…please let me move…?”

Her mewling plea was like a sweet, sexy song.

“Yeah, you can move, and now I’m gonna fuck you til you come.”

As he gripped her hips and quickened his pace, she cried out her thanks, but he barely heard her. Hot energy was firing through his loins, and there’d be no holding back.

“I’m there…” she suddenly wailed, arching her back.

With her cries filling the room, he continued to pound until the last second, then pulled out and stroked himself to the end, exploding his hot cream over her scalded behind.

After they’d recovered and he’d cleaned her up, he stretched out beside her and snuggled against him.

“Rick, I don’t think I have the energy to go to the Tavern for dinner.”

“I feel the same, but we have to find a second wind. We can’t go without eatin’ and there’s nothin’ here. Besides, you must be gettin’ hungry.”

“I am, and I want to swing by the show ground and check on Piggles.”

“Then it’s settled. Five minutes and we’re up and outta here. Deal?”

“Deal.”

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

Though Duke wanted to stay and spend the evening with Mandy, he could see she was exhausted from the drama and the driving. He was about to leave, but unexpectedly found himself alone with her when Susan left to mix her horse’s supplements. Deciding he had nothing to lose, he summoned his courage and jumped in.

“Mandy, I’m heading out, but before—”

“Duke, thank you for coming all this way with us,” she said gratefully. “It made such a difference.”

“You’re welcome, but before I go—”

“We would have been so nervous if you hadn’t been there.”

“Mandy,” he said, taking a breath and lowering his voice, “I’m glad, but there’s something I need to say.”

“Sorry, I’m always interrupting. It’s a terrible habit,” she apologized, and as a pink blush crossed her face, for a moment he lost his train of thought. “Duke?”

“Something just popped into my head. Anyway, I know I live two hours away, but I’d like to see you again,” he said, gathering his wits. “I was thinking I’d come back next weekend and we could spend some time together.”

“Really?”
