“Hmm. And in the bedroom?” His lips brush the sensitive spot below my ear, making me shake now. “What do you like to do for fun in there?”
My breath catches. Is this man for real?
His chuckle vibrates against my neck. “I’ll take that as a good sign.”
Liam is nothing like the guys I usually date. He’s bold, unapologetic about what he wants—and he wants me. My pulse thrums with excitement and nerves.
I tilt my head to look at him, our faces only inches apart. “Pretty sure of yourself.”
“And you’re not?” His eyes gleam with challenge and something more primal. “I felt the sparks between us, Sienna. I know you’re just as turned on as I am.”
My cheeks heat, but I don’t look away from Liam’s intense gaze. He’s right—the attraction between us is undeniable. But I’m not the type of woman who jumps into bed with a man on the first date.
I place my hands on his chest and push, putting some distance between us. “Slow down, hotshot. A girl likes to be wooed first.”
He grins, clearly enjoying the challenge. “My apologies. I got a little carried away.”
Liam takes my hand and brings it to his lips, kissing my knuckles in a charming gesture. The simple act makes my heart skip.
“Tell me more about yourself, Sienna,” he says. “What are you passionate about?”
I toy with my glass, thinking. “Art, music, trying new things. Laughing and enjoying life with my family and friends.” I pause, then add, “A man who can keep up with me in and out of the bedroom.”
Liam’s eyes darken. “Is that so?” He leans in, his full lips brushing my ear. “I never back down from a challenge, Sienna. You sure you can handle me?”
A delicious shiver runs down my spine. Two can play at this game.
I turn my head and whisper in his ear, “The question is, can you handle all of me?”
When I pull back, Liam’s eyes are molten with desire. “I look forward to finding out.” His voice is rough with arousal.
The sexual tension between us could be cut with a knife. If we don’t get out of here soon, we might end up putting on a show for the whole bar.
I grab my purse and slide off the bar stool, Liam following suit. “You comin’?”
He grins and throws bills on the counter. “I’m not done with you, Sienna.”
My heart pounds with anticipation.
We barely make it through my front door before Liam presses me against the wall, his hard body flush against mine. His mouth descends on mine in a searing kiss that makes my knees weak.
I moan into his mouth, my hands roaming over the solid muscles of his back. He lifts me up easily, my legs wrapping around his waist as he carries me into the living room.
Liam sets me down on the couch, his eyes dark with lust. “You’re way overdressed, baby.”
