It doesn't take long to find them all. Eli is playing football with Gray and his lover, as Crow so eloquently puts it, while Grace is tiring out said lover by making him chase her around the garden. I find my smile lifting as I watch the scene in front of me with Crow’s hand in my own.

Life is full of the most horrendous heartaches, and yet I'm simultaneously bombarded with the most sensational love and happiness in the simplest of things and for that, I have no doubt I have Liam and my baby in Heaven to thank for watching over us and keeping us content and happy until we can see them again one day.

But until then, I plan to spend every moment of the life I have, living for those that I have with me as well as for the ones I'm without.

"You're still a shithead!" Crow shouts at the man on the field as Gray gives him the stink eye for cursing out his boyfriend and Grace copies before giving said shithead a hug and babbling something his way.

Eli drags me towards Liam’s grave and tells me that Liam wants to play a game. Crow soon joins in with Grace and with our family so close to being complete, even without all of us earth-side, I thank every and anyone that's ever listened to my prayers.

Diary Entry

My dream has always been to write. To write a story that changes minds, confounds readers, and sets dreams alight. I just didn't think this would be the story I would tell.

For the second and last time, I'm signing this for you. For him. For everything we never got to be.

In another world, we'll have it all.

I'll see you again one day, but until then, I'll raise our son to be as mighty and wonderful as you were both always supposed to be.

Until we meet again.
