and let’s just say his gray sweatpants didn’t hide his reaction well:)

Ava

You little slut!!! Why did you have your shirt off in the first place??

Bloss

Curious minds need to know!!

Me

Sophie shit all over me…

Ava

Buzz kill.

Bloss

I would say party foul, but it sounds more like the parent trap! They may be young but they know what they’re doing:)

Ava

If he got hard even when you smelled like shit… there is no doubt he is still in love with your ass.

Me

Goodbye babes… I have to go shower the shit off! Love you both.

Twenty-Two

Eli and I have created a routine that revolves around the girls and baseball. So far, it has been working really well for all of us. Our friendship is easily falling back into place, but with that comes an astronomical amount of tension and the desire for more… so much more.

Baby steps, Quinn. Baby steps.

Today he surprised me with a day off, which was sweet enough in itself, but he also booked me an all-expenses paid trip to one of the best spas in Tampa.

Truthfully, I love being with them so much that I didn’t really want alone time when he mentioned it, but today has been a dream. From the massage to the facial and everything in between… these ladies have the hands of angels. It also didn’t go unnoticed when the hostess that checked me in told me they’d arranged all female providers for me throughout my treatments. The thought of a jealous Eli does nothing to tamp down the craving for him I’ve had growing ever since the laundry room fiasco earlier this week.

Me

The Spa was amazing… truly. Thanks, E.

Hotshot

Good. You deserve so much more for all you do.

Me

I’m going to try that sushi place downtown and then head home. I’ll take the monitor for the night since you have to be up so early.

Hotshot

You don’t have to do that… enjoy your sushi. Have a spicy tuna in my honor.

Opening the door to Shiki Sushi, I head over to the takeout area, deciding I would much rather take it home and eat it with Eli.

Thirty minutes later, I’m pulling in our driveway. The guest house our parents stayed in while everyone was here on vacation catches my eye. I hate that the sight of it makes my gut twist. It was supposed to be for Cami this spring. As thankful as I am to be here reconnecting my friendship and falling in love with the girls, it kills me that one day they will have so many questions about their mother. Some of us would give anything to have what she has and so easily neglects.
