“I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt because he apologized and he’s hot.” I laughed, and she just shook her head.
“Girl, all he wants is to get into your pants.” She took the final bite of her f. “Okay, let me hear about the next guy.”
“Okay, the next guy is Jose. He’s originally from Puerto Rico.”
“Ooh.” She nodded enthusiastically. “He’s sounding good.”
“He’s hot!” I grinned. “Dark hair, dark skin, hazel-brown eyes.”
“Sign me up.” She laughed. “Well, let me hear what he said first.”
“Okay,” I laughed and pulled up his conversation.

Polly: It’s 11pm. I’m in bed.
Jose: It’s still early. We could grab a drink.

Jose: I can come over with some wine.

Jose: So what you looking for?
Polly: Hmmm, not sure. A date, a relationship, a connection. You?
Jose: I’m open to all things. Just trying to have fun. Recently out of a relationship and want to explore.
Polly: Oh, I’m sorry. How recent?
Jose: A month ago. It’s okay. She was CRAZY. LOCO.
Polly: Oh so sorry.
“Oh girl.” Natasha shook her head. “I hate it when men call their exes crazy. I bet he cheated.”
