He leans back to his side, and I grab the door handle as Nigel climbs out of the car. Kincaid grabs my arm and pulls me back.
“I will be back, Nia. I won’t tell you the day or time but know that when I return, I’m coming for you with everything in me, and I won’t take no for an answer. When I come back, I’ll have your body all night long. And I’ll fuck you until you believe you were created solely for my pleasure,” he says in a deep, rich tone.
My heart is pounding out of my chest, and just as desperate to get out of there as I am to get out of this car. When Nigel finally pulls the door open, I almost tumble out, stumbling onto the sidewalk.
Nigel gently grabs my arm to right me and keep me balanced.
“Oh, and Nia?”
I glance back at Cade with a steely gaze.
“You may want to wear some flats. Don’t forget, it’s only been a couple of weeks since your incident. Christmas is three days away. I’d hate to see you laid up on Christmas Day. Laid out for my eating pleasure. Unable to run. Unable to escape.”
“Somehow, I doubt you would hate that.”
He smirks at me and says, “You’re right. I’ll be there at your beck and call...to service every one of your needs.”
With that, Nigel releases me and closes the door on Cade. I glance at Nigel, who’s barely hiding his own smirk, and I dash off toward the parking lot and the safety of my car.
11 – YESENIA
Stacey had given Cademy address unbeknownst to me. I heard a knock on my door just after ten on Christmas morning. I wasn’t expecting anyone since Christmas festivities would be held at my mother’s house.
I was surprised when I opened the door to a delivery worker who gave me twelve long-stemmed phalaenopsis orchids and a bottle of nineteen-twenty-eight Krug champagne.
The little card simply said:
