“Yet you want me to get up already? You think that since you are now my husband that I should wait on you hand and foot, bring you breakfast in bed?” she questioned turning over to face him with a slightly lifted brow and smile. She slid her hand onto his waist and felt his muscles tighten beneath her fingers.
“No, if I desire breakfast or if you desire breakfast then I shall be more than willing to make it for us. You are my wife,agape mou. It is my job and duty to take care of you first and foremost.”
Hailey felt her heart flutter hearing him slip into Greek for his endearment, as though English simply weren’t enough to contain it any longer. It sent hope through her and she slid a hand up his side, moving closer to him as her breasts swelled, their tips pebbling into hard almost painful points. “Then kiss me, Husband and sate my need.”
“Just a kiss, you are too new at this to allow me to fully sate your need,pethi mou,” he whispered against her lips, doing his best to keep from letting her entice him into changing his mind. He wanted to but he knew he needed to allow her time to adjust, give her body time to recover from his demands of it last night.
“I feel fine Stefano,” she stated cupping his cheek with a smile at him.
“That is because I have not touched your sweet core my darling angel. You may be used to riding but it is different muscles used for what we did last night. I want to make love to you again tonight and each night after, so for now, I will draw you a warm bath and you will rest. Is there anything you desire for breakfast that I can get you?” he questioned dropping soft kisses on her lips forcing his need back the way he’d learnt to the last six years.
“I can’t change your mind?” she asked meeting his gaze fully.
“Not this time, when we have been together longer, you are entirely situated into this life then I shall always give into you,agape mou, always.”
“Mmm,” she sighed as he pressed a kiss to her temple. “Alright, you win for now. Can you hand me my robe?”
“Whatever for?” he asked putting a slight blush into her cheeks. “You do not have to hide your exquisite body from me, my darling. I have extraordinarily strong self-control and I will not go back on my word of not making love to you again until this evening, not even if you were to remain naked in my presence all day.”
“It is very tempting to test you, but I dare say that you would not be happy if I were to leave the house unclothed,” she teased as he pushed back the covers and slid out, lifting her into his arms to carry into the bathroom.
“I would be quite displeased. That demanding Greek side of me would come out entirely and it might frighten you my sweet Hailey. No, I shall ensure you are properly dressed while we are near others but once we are alone then you may remain as naked as you wish,” he stated kissing the top of her head as he began to fill the tub. He sat on its side, holding her, tracing the lines of her body and she closed her eyes as it enflamed her.
“Stefano…” she sighed as he left her teetering on the edge. “Please…”
“No, your muscles need rest, I will not abuse you,” he said easily. “The only pleasure shall be from my kisses and touches on your sweet lips and breasts.”
“Oh, Stefano yes,” she cried as he took a hard tip into his mouth and sucked sending shivers through her. He continued to make love to her as the water filled and he turned her, resting her over a single leg, hers on either side of it as her breathing tightened fully. He pressed her down into him and her hands tightened on him, her body shuddering as a release swept through her, putting a smile onto his lips.
“Now that you have received your pleasure, will you behave for the day?” he asked pressing kisses onto her closed eyes.
“I shall try,” she sighed returning his smile as he settled her into the warm water.
“What would you like to eat, my darling angel?” he asked kneeling down next to the tub taking her hand into his for a kiss on her palm.
“Mmm, something light and fresh? I dare say we have plenty of fruit left from yesterday morning.”
“You stay and rest, I will be back in a bit,” he stated moving back into the bedroom, to the dresser for his clothes. He pulled them on, checking his phone to ensure everything was on schedule, and went downstairs to make Hailey some food to entice her to eat. She had been avoiding food for the last few weeks and she did not need that. No, he wanted her body prepared to receive their child.
His phone rang as he took the tray upstairs and he chuckled seeing his mother’s name appear on the screen. He shook his head before answering a smile on his lips. “Good morning Mother, don’t you know it’s impolite to interrupt a man on his honeymoon?”
“Whatever are you doing answering after one ring Stefano?” Elena questioned and he heard the surprise in her voice that he even had answered at all.
“I am taking a tray up to my beautiful wife who is resting in the tub because I am a gentleman and will not allow my own desires to overrule her body’s needs.”
“Oh…of course,” Elena stated and this time he heard the smile in her voice. “We—I just wanted to wish you well before you leave on your official honeymoon. We will be out to get the gifts into the house and finish removing the decorations later this afternoon if that is alright with you.”
“That is fine Mother, we will be leaving around twelve-thirty if you wish to see how happy your new daughter-in-law is before we’re off,” Stefano said knowing she and Hailey’s parents were likely anxious to know that their honeymoon was off to a wonderful start.
“That sounds lovely, we’ll see you later then,” Elena said, and he hung up the phone to return to Hailey.
He set the tray down beside the bed and went into the bathroom, lifting Hailey from the water with a soft kiss as he wrapped a large towel around her, carrying her back into the bedroom to eat. He kept her arms tucked inside the towel and fed her himself, making sure she ate it all despite her claims that she was full.
“Mother called while you were in the tub,” he stated sitting back against the headboard, keeping her across his lap as he cradled her to him.
“Was she surprised you answered?”
“Quite until I told her that as much as I desire to keep you in bed that your needs come first and right now that is for rest of muscles that are not used to work.”
