“No, I came to see if you wanted to head home early. Elizabeth said you’d run out on an errand when I got here about fifteen minutes ago,” he stated drawing her down onto his lap with a soft kiss as he sat in her chair. “Remind me to buy you a new chair for your office; I’m amazed you don’t have horrible backaches all the time.”
“I’m usually not sitting in it for long at any one time.”
“I’m still getting you a new chair because once you are pregnant and still coming into the office with me you will be sitting for longer periods of time and I will not listen to you complain about me being insensitive…what?” he added seeing the slight flush that stole up her cheeks. “What has made you smile,pethi mou?”
“That errand I ran,” she said unable to keep the news to herself.
“Ah you ran to the pharmacy,” he said seeing the top of the bag inside her purse. “I thought you were carrying some with you though.”
“I don’t think we’ll need them for a bit,” she admitted opening the top of her bag to show him the contents.
“But…you said…Hailey,agape mou, are you saying it was positive?” he asked seeing the smile on her lips.
“Yes, it’s positive Stefano. I’ve never spotted and not started within the next few hours. I checked my calendar, and I shouldn’t have started until tomorrow at the earliest. I have a bit longer cycle than most of the other girls I know…so I did a bit of checking while you were at your lunch meeting and it showed what I thought was my spotting could have been implantation bleeding. There’s nothing wrong with it and so…”
“You went to pick up a test, on just that one thing?” he asked cupping her cheek unable to keep a smile from his face.
“That and the fact that the tuna salad sandwich I had for lunch made me gag.”
“You love Redondo’s tuna salad,” he said, and she nodded making him smile as he pressed a kiss to her temple. “Let’s go home,agape mou. I want to make love to you.”
“Please do Husband,” she teased pressing her lips to the corner of his mouth.
“Not until we’re home, come,agape mou,” he said pulling her up with him, settling her into his side as he walked her back to the doors.
Hailey slipped her package deeper into her bag, resting against him telling Elizabeth goodnight as she grinned at them.
“Enjoy your weekend Mrs. Jordan…be good to her Mr. Jordan,” she tacked on and Stefano let out a full laugh surprising the room.
“Am I good to you,pethi mou?” Stefano asked and she couldn’t stop from grinning.
“The best, you spoil me with your attention and affection, what could be better than that?” she replied seeing a few eye rolls from the others there, but she didn’t care.
Stefano took great efforts to stop himself from pulling her into his arms as they reached the limo, but he finally gave in, lifting her over his lap and kissed her fully, his hands trailing over her body. She gasped into his mouth when his hand slid inside her bra, teasing a tightly furled tip and he stopped lowering his head down against hers breathing her in deeply.
“Forgive me my darling; I should not have attempted to love you in the car.”
“Stefano, I do not mind that you are making love to me in the car, far from it,” she said capturing his lips with hers lifting his hand back up to touch her. “I seem to be the slightest bit more sensitive is all.”
“Do not tell me that my sweet Hailey, it makes me want to discover that fact for myself at great length,” he whispered trailing his lips over to nibble on her earlobe sending a slight shudder through her.
“Love me Stefano, please,” she sighed, and he lowered her onto the seat, covering her with his length.
He pressed a kiss to her burning cheeks as they arrived home, buttoning her blouse before sweeping her up into his arms to carry her inside. He didn’t bother to stop until he was in the bedroom, his briefcase falling onto the chair as he moved them into the bathroom, filling the tub as he discarded their clothing.
He sank down into the water’s depth, turning her to face him letting her rest back against his legs. She closed her eyes, letting out a smile and he knew his entire world was within his hold.
“You are so beautiful my sweet, sweet Hailey,” he stated running his hands up and down her sides bringing a glow from within her outward.
“Will you think so once I’m fat and swollen with our child?” she asked placing his hand over her stomach smiling happily at the idea.
“You will never be fat in my eyes my darling. You will always be beautiful, sweet, innocent, even when your stomach swells to contain our child. I have no doubt that you will never look more stunning to me at that point,agape mou.”
“Are we crazy to be so excited this early?” she questioned biting her lip lightly.
“No, crazy would be to not want this, not be happy for this miracle. Don’t bother your lip my darling, you’ll draw blood and I’ll be unable to kiss you as I wish.”
“I see it’s not about my wellbeing at all is it? It’s all related to your own desires,” she said letting a smile slip back onto her lips as he tugged her down into the water further, bringing her core resting against his fully erect length. “Mmm…”
