I’ve never forgotten about her. One taste and I’m an addict. She’s like heroin. Every time I see her, I think about approaching her, taking what’s mine, but I’ve been stopped by the impulse to keep her out of harm’s way.

Now here she is. Looking as drop dead gorgeous as always. Her long, dark hair falls across her face. She pushes it back with a slim hand. When she looks up, our eyes connect, and I’m distracted by how blue they are, and by the plumpness of her lips.

But she’s in Billy fucking Locksley’s clubhouse. Calling him ‘dad’. She’s one of them.

A Dullahan.

I see red. Anger and confusion mixing until I can’t think straight. “Why the fuck didn’t anyone notice there are women here? You were on intel, Caden. Were you asleep on the job?”

Caden averts his gaze. “They must have come in through the back. I swear boss.”

Fuck me, I’m going to kill him, but I don’t want blood on my new suit. That settles it. Nick will kill him later.

“You know what to do, Nick.”

He knocks Caden out and carries him outside.

“Get out of here, Aurora!” Liam shouts.

So that’s her name. Aurora. It’s a pretty name for a pretty girl.

What the fuck am I going to do about you, lass?I ask myself. I don’t want to kill her, but since I just abducted her family, I might have to. Shit, that’s not an option.

Aurora remains where she is. Standing there, she looks young. Too young to be in college. I thought she was about twenty-four, just a few years younger than me, but now I’m not sure. She can’t be more than twenty.

Nick comes back inside. Caden must be locked up in a trunk.

Abruptly, Aurora turns to run.

“You leave and I kill them all,” I say.

That stops her in her tracks.

“Get out of here!” Liam repeats.

I glance at Nick, and he punches Liam to shut him up.

His men don’t like to see their second-in-command hit. They growl and mutter curses and threats under their breath.

“You’re Billy’s daughter?” I ask, focusing only on her.

Fuck, how have I missed that Aurora is Billy’s daughter? I know just about everything there is to know about the man. More than I honestly ever want to know about white trash like Billy fucking Locksley. But of course I know the answer. Caden is the same genius who did the Locksley surveillance for me. If only he could die twice.

“Yes.” Her eyes widen with fear until they’re mostly white. “I lived with my mom until she passed away.”

That must be how Caden missed it. Aurora has spent little time with Billy. Why would Caden tell me about another child born out of wedlock? Especially a daughter who is a law-abiding college student.

I sense an opportunity. A chance to have my cake and eat it too. A way to hurt the Dullahans worse.

Chapter 5

Aurora

I stare at the intruder. My one night stand has broken into the clubhouse and he’s asking me questions like it’s a study session.

“Aurora, come here,” he orders. I can’t make my feet move if I want to and I don’t. He glances at one of his men, who flicks the safety off his gun and trains it on Liam’s head. “Come here, Aurora. Now.”

Liam glares at the intruders.
