“You don’t?” He groaned against her cheek, his lips moving to her ear.

“No.”

“But don’t you remember…” His thumb increased its pressure. “We have guests to attend too.”

“Just a little more,” she begged, her nails scraping his wrist as she tried to pull him away.

“I think now is a good time.” He underlined his words with a deep hard thrust before circling his thumb hard and rough against her clit.

His lips quickly moved back to hers, swallowing her moans as she reached her climax. Her hands and feet tingled as her muscles tensed up and her pleasure reached its peak. His dick still worked her tense walls, prolonging her orgasm. She completely relaxed, enjoying the feeling of the blissful waves of her orgasm washing over her.

Ending the kiss, he gave her space to breathe. His forehead leaning against hers, he pulled his hand from between them and placed it on the bed next to her head. He pumped into her, his eyes closed, his hips slamming against hers. He dove deeper than before thrusting hard and wild into her core.

She spread her legs wide, giving him free range. With a deep growl and one last hard thrust Blake came, his dick pulsing inside of her before his hardness eased. For a split second, his body relaxed and his weight pinned her down before he realized he was about to crush her and sat up.

She looked up at him, his face soft and satisfied. “I kind of hate you.”

He lovingly caressed her thigh and chuckled. “I love you too.” His hands trailed to her little bump, his eyes filling with pride as he leaned down and kissed her. “Together with these two of course.”

Quickly pulling up his pants, he left the room and returned a moment later with two cloths.

She gratefully took them from him. “Can you check on the food in the oven? I might not be able to walk for a few moments.”

“Of course.” With a huge grin on his face, like he’d won the first prize in a contest, he walked out.

It did take her a few moments to regain feeling in her legs again and be able to walk out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. Blake had already pulled out the lasagna and was cutting it. Niev quickly grabbed four plates and four glasses.

“We were afraid we would miss out on dinner,” Tristan walked in, holding the door for Olivia.

“We would’ve waited for you.”

Niev handed them both a plate and a glass of juice. They all sat down in the living room and enjoyed an easy and relaxed evening.

Ann and Kareem

Blake woke up early the next morning with Niev cuddled up to him, her heartbeats steady as she rested in a deep sleep. He sighed and gently moved from underneath her, not wanting to wake her yet. She still had time before she needed to head out to Christa, and he didn’t want to take that precious rest away from her.

He didn’t want to leave yet, but he didn’t want to be late for Kai’s meeting. He still had a bad feeling about the wolf that he’d scented the morning before and needed to be sure that he wasn’t overreacting. He quietly grabbed a pair of shorts and closed the bedroom door. Walking into the living room, he chuckled to himself. Tristan was sprawled out on the couch snoring like a chainsaw. Like the gentleman he was, Tristan had taken Olivia home and had accepted Niev’s offer to stay the night.

Blake opened the fridge and grabbed a quick breakfast before heading out of the front door. He stripped down and let his wolf take over his body, shifting into the large black wolf Niev loved so dearly. It filled him with pride how much she adored his wolf. Every time his wolf was around her, he couldn’t get enough of her, especially not her cuddles. She’d tamed him from the first time his wolf had laid eyes on her. She had the ability to calm him like nothing else.

His paws started moving south toward the edge of their territory and closer to the lumber business. The sun was barely rising above the horizon and the sunlight had trouble peaking through the thick leaf roof above him. As he was running through the woods, he had all his senses on high alert just in case another strange scent crossed his path.

A few minutes later, he reached the clearing as one of the firsts to arrive. Only Seth, Bear, and Kai were already there. Seth looked confused and Blake opened his mind to all three of them to explain why he’d come.

‘I scented a wolf that I didn’t know yesterday on my run near our house, and I want to make sure it was one of them.’

Seth nodded, so Blake closed his mind off again.

It didn’t take the other wolves long to arrive. There were only four of them, one of which Blake knew was Clarence. One of the younger ones Blake assumed was Julius, who had returned to his mother a few days ago just in time to be part of the merging ceremony.

Blake stepped back and let Seth take the lead, who opened his mind to all of them. ‘As new members we wanted to meet your wolves so there are no misunderstandings as we run into you or your scent while patrolling our territory.’

No one said anything but Blake could feel agreement and relief.

Seth continued. ‘This is Bear, your future Beta and this is Kai, our lead warrior.’

Seth’s thoughts were drained of all emotion just like he’d been yesterday during the merging ceremony–except for the part where Niev was officially welcomed into the pack.
