“Don’t stop.Please!” He groans.

“Dammit! I’m trying to be good here, baby, but you’re killing me.”

“Don’t be good. Fuck me, Ray. Fuck me hard and hot and right fucking now!’

I’ve never said anything like this and he growls, surging forward until he’s buried balls deep in my core.

“Oh fuck!” he yells and I hold myself still, waiting for the sharp pain to lessen.

“Dammit, baby. I didn’t want to hurt you.”

“You didn’t.”

“Liar.” He groans when I start to move under him. But my restless body doesn’t stop and he growls, his own hips matching mine thrust for thrust.

His head goes back, his eyes closed and his body claiming mine.

“You feel so good, baby. Are you alright?”

“So good. So full. I just need…”. I can’t finish the sentence. I know but I can’t talk. My body is raging, my heart pounding. My nails dig into his shoulders and he grunts but he keeps pushing and tugging me into his body, his thick cock splitting me open, sharp crashing waves building and gradually overtaking me like a tsunami crashing into shore tearing me off my moorings and destroying all my worries and fears.

“Yes, yes, yes! I scream out my ecstasy as he grunts and growls, his hips stuttering and then I feel jet after jet of his release hitting me with a shattering intensity, setting off another way of body-splitting passion that dissolves me into a shivering, broken mess of a woman.

I close my eyes and whimper. This. This is what I was made for. What I’ve been looking for my whole life.

Raymond is my other half. My soulmate. And all I can hope is that he never leaves me because if he does, I’ll never recover.

CHAPTER10

Raymond

Ikiss her forehead as she snores lightly in my arms. We’ve slept together every night this week and I can tell she wants me. Tell she loves me. But every time our lovemaking is over, she drifts off and it’s like she withdraws from me.

I can’t sleep tonight. The gym has been busy this week and I’m going crazy. The weird guy hasn’t made another appearance but there have been several new guys and I worry that I’m gonna miss some clue. Some small thing that’s gonna give this asshole an opening.

Nothing has happened since he trashed her apartment and I feel like he’s waiting. Like he knows that sooner or later he’s gonna get the opportunity he wants.

I stand up and slip out from underneath Allie when my phone rings in the other room. She whimpers and stirs for a second and then falls into sleep again.

Padding out to the living room, I pick up the phone.

“Yeah?”

“Raymond?”

“Captain?”

“We’ve got a lead. There’s a guy that said this new guy moved into his building and he’s been kinda keeping odd hours. He heard him on the phone talking about the mayor a few days before the mayor was killed. He could be our guy.”

“Who’s the guy?”

“The guy or the one that sent us the message?”

“Let’s go with messenger first?”

“That would be Derek.” That stops me. Derek is a good snitch. He’s got a drug problem but he’s got his ear to the ground and he’s often got good intel for us.

“Okay. So this other guy. Who is he?”
