I’m about to do just that when Hannah calls.

“What do you need?” I ask in way of greeting.

“Hello to you, too, darling brother,” she teases. “I’m simply wondering how your weekend was.”

“It was fine.” It was more than fine.

After our stop at Top of the Rock yesterday, Sophie and I ran a short loop around the park, then went back to my place. I could barely make it past the door, so I ate her pussy against the wall in the hallway, then fucked her on the kitchen counter. She wanted me to spank her again and damn, she gets so wet when I do. Her arousal was dripping down the inside of her thighs. I had to lay her on the bed and lick her clean again. Then I hovered over her on the bed so she could suck me, before I slammed into her tight pussy, and as I had promised, I came all over her tits.

“You there?” Hannah asks, my silence making her wonder if I’ve hung up.

“Yeah.” I adjust myself and let the fact that I’m on the phone with my sister put a stop to the raging hard-on that threatens with the thought of Sophie.

“My weekend was lovely. I spent Saturday morning at the boutique, then James and I had a picnic in the park. Thanks for asking.”

“Sorry.” Guilt hits me for being short with her. “I’m glad you had a nice weekend.”

“Okay. I need a favor,” she says.

I groan, the guilt I felt a moment ago evaporating. “So, you do need something.”

“It’s a small favor.”

A sharp puff of air escapes from my nostrils. “Define small.”

“My friend Allison will be in town for the Two Ten gala on Friday. She needs a date.”

“You told me to never date your friends.”

“It’s not a date-date. She just broke up with her boyfriend. She’s a little down and doesn’t want to be a third wheel with me and James. Unless there’s someone else you plan to take?”

I can’t see her face, but if eyebrows lifting had a tone, this would be it.

“No.” I don’t know what Sophie has planned for Friday night, but even if she is available, we wouldn’t be going to the Two Ten gala together.

“Pretty please, with a bottle of Balvenie on top?”

It’s my favorite scotch. But I have no trouble getting my own liquor.

“That’s an insulting offer.”

She grumbles. “Fine. You can have the lake house for July Fourth weekend. I know you’re always complaining that James and I take over with all our couple friends, so it would be all yours this time.”

Our family has a house on Lake George in the Adirondacks. It’s our go-to escape from the city in the summer. Fourth of July weekend especially. If she’s offering it up, she must be desperate.

Normally, that offer would pique my interest, but I don’t know that I’ll be headed to Lake George that weekend. If Sophie’s working in the city, I might opt to stay here as well. The thought comes out of nowhere. Huh. I rub my jaw, contemplating how quickly I’m letting my need for Sophie influence my life. I never do that.

“Come on, you’ve got to make me a better offer than that.”

Hannah sighs. “Name your price.”

I take a moment to think. I could keep the lake house and not make plans with Sophie that weekend. That will help keep things in perspective. We’re fucking, not a couple with date nights and holiday weekend getaways. But I could also get something to assist me in my task of showing Sophie the city.

“Actually, I’ll take the Lake George house for Fourth of July weekend and you can throw in your tickets for the ballet next week.”

“You want my ballet tickets? What for?” She sounds suspicious. Again, like a dog with a bone.

“No questions necessary. Do we have a deal?”
