“It’s fine, Braz,” he said with a small laugh. “It’s more than fine. I love seeing the two of you together.”

I blinked down at him. “You… do?”

He nodded. “Very much so. In fact, I’d love to see you guys together more often and perhaps with more skin on display.”

My eyes almost bugged out of my face. “Theon!” I couldn’t believe my little mage had said that.

He giggled and put a hand on my forearm to stop me from walking. “I know I joke, but I wanted to make sure you know it’s okay.”

My throat went dry. “That wh-what’s okay?”

“Pursuing Florin, in whatever way you want. Including romantically. You both like each other, and I want to see you happy.”

My heart was racing in my chest. “You… that wouldn’t upset you?”

He smiled. “No. I love seeing my partners loving each other. It’s one of my favorite things.” He must’ve been thinking about Nica and Wey, but they were different because they’d been together on and off before Theon came along.

I stared at his pretty blue eyes. “A-are you sure, angel? I love you so much, I would never want to—”

He cut me off by grabbing the front of my tunic and yanking me down, pulling my head down with it until I was low enough for him to go on his tippy toes to press his lips to mine. I grunted in surprise, then hugged him to me and stood, bringing my little mage up with me. His legs wrapped around my waist, his arms around my neck, and he smiled against my teeth.

When we broke apart, he rested his forehead on mine and whispered, “I love you, too, Braz. More than you know.”

I gave him a chaste kiss.

His eyes searched mine for a long moment. “You like Florin, don’t you? More than a friend?”

My throat went dry again as a sliver of fear rushed through me. But I could never lie to my angel, so I nodded and whispered, “Y-yes.”

His smile was huge. “Good.” He kissed me again. “Then it’s settled. You should go for it with him. You two are so sweet together.” A dreamy expression crossed his face, and it was clear that he really did like the idea. That he truly wanted me to explore… whatever it was I felt toward Florin.

Theon ran a finger over one of my tusks, making me shiver. “I just want everyone to see how amazing you are and to love you as much as I do because you deserve so much, Braz. You’re such a good person, and I think Florin sees that. I think maybe he knew all along, even before I ever came to House Natas. You deserve the world, Braz, and I want to give it to you.”

I gathered him tighter in my arms and kissed him soundly before whispering, “I already have the world, Theon—I have you.”

“Goddess, you always…” He groaned. “You deserve more, and I hope you’ll listen to me and talk to Florin. And I think that he maybe needs you, too.”

Closing my eyes, I rested my forehead to his again and breathed him in for a moment. I didn’t need more, not when I had Theon. But Florin, he… he deserved everything he wanted and more. If Theon was right, if Florin really did want me, then… well, I’d give him anything he wanted. He was special, just like Theon, and maybe I could help show him just how special he was.

“Braz?” Theon whispered, a gleam in his eyes.

“Yes?”

“Our hut is close enough that you’d be able to hear Florin if he needed you, yes?”

I thought about it for a moment, then nodded. “Yes.”

He grinned. “Take me home, Braz.” He pushed his hips against my belly, and I felt the hardness growing between us. “Take me to bed.”

A slow smile spread over my face. “My pleasure, angel.”

I kissed him as I turned around and headed for our hut with him still in my arms. Since I didn’t want to run into anything, I broke the kiss but held onto Theon’s ass, kneading the mouthwatering muscles there. He peppered kisses along my neck and pulled on my braid, untwisting the tie with practiced ease and running his fingers through my long hair. He really enjoyed playing with my hair when we were intimate. The thought made me smile as I pushed the door to our hut open and headed straight for the bed.

As I lay him down on his back, he whispered, “Kiss me.”

So I did. As my hands traveled over his body, removing fabric and stripping him bare, I kissed him, diving my tongue into his mouth, sucking on his tongue, shivering when he licked my tusks.

But Theon wasn’t a passive lover. As I stripped him naked, he did the same to me until I fell over him, skin-to-skin. He was so tiny that I kept my weight on my elbows and knees, his lithe body writhing beneath me and seeking friction.
