“To Family,” he continued.

“To Family!” We echoed loudly.

CHAPTER 16

MOLLY

We’re nearing the end of October and I’m getting heartily sick of this prick Rupert. I hadn’t told Draco or Navy but I kept getting threatening emails from him. I'd kind of expected it so I wasn’t too fazed when I got them. It wasn’t pleasant reading, but as I was never alone, I didn’t let them bother me too much. I’d not told Draco and Navy about them because they were stressed enough because he kept sending idiots to do small time petty stuff to the farm or brewery.

He doesn’t pick very bright people to try to vandalise us, either. They barely make it past the fence before they are caught.

Draco thinks he’s testing our security to see where there is a weakness. I’m all for Navy's idea of creating a weakness and nabbing the bastard.

Draco, Reaper, and Dragon had ridden over to Badger Brewery, but Rupert had conveniently not been available. I was giving them until just after Guy Fawkes, then this had to be over. Because then it was the start of the festive season and that was my busiest time.

I was in our kitchen and the table was covered in sweets and chocolates galore. I was hard pressed not to dive in. I could literally feel my mouth watering. It was Halloween this Friday, and we’d decided to have a trunk and treat in the field we’d had the fair in. It had been an idea tossed out by Noni, who said she’d heard about it from an American friend. We’d all thought it was a great idea, and it had spread from there. We were now not only doing the trunk and treat but also having a food tent that was serving soup, hot chocolate, coffee, and tea.

Dragon had hired a haunted house and a bouncy castle for the kids. Carly, Bren, and Bella had said they’d do face painting again.

All of this would be run on donations only. The donations raised would be added to the amount we’d made at the summer fair and they’d be ploughed back into our village. I loved our little corner of England, so many changes in the last year with the Aces and then Rogue being kidnapped. The whole village had learned to pull together. Before this year no-one would have helped. It took the MC getting back together and dragging us all into the community. Some may have done it kicking and screaming, but we all did it and it made us stronger.

Opening the bags of fun size chocolates and jelly sweets, I gave in and stuffed a small bar in my mouth, chewing fast just as the back door opened and Noni and Avi walked in.

“Ha, caught you,” Noni exclaimed, laughing.

“Shut up,” I chuckled, throwing the empty wrapper at her. “It’s all just sitting here looking delicious, and I couldn’t help myself.”

Avy grinned at me, as she took off all her outerwear and hung it by the back door.

“There’s wine in the fridge if you want,” I said, gesturing to the fridge. “You know where the glasses are.”

“Are you allowed any yet?” Noni asks with a smirk on her face.

“Ugh, no. Because I’m three days late. Bloody Draco, with his delicious abs that I love to lick, his big cock that he knows how to use and super sperm. I think I might be knocked up,” I admitted with a pout, opening another chocolate and shoving in my mouth. I look up when I realise there’s absolute silence in the kitchen.

Avy and Noni are looking at me with a mixture of horror and disgust on their faces.

“I did not need to know any of that about Draco,” Avy shudders.

“Me either. I need to wash the taste of vomit out of my mouth,” Noni agrees, gagging, slamming back her glass of wine before pouring another.

“You two suck. I need Rea, Julia, and Abby to come and help me so I can discuss this shit without them throwing up,” I griped, opening another chocolate and popping it in my mouth.

“Suck it up, Buttercup, you have us because those three are busy tonight with their men,” Avy answers, taking a sip of the wine Noni hands her and making piles of the different sweets on the table.

“Okay, preggo. You can have five more and that is it. No more or the kids won’t have any to go in their bags,” Noni states, sorting five fun size chocolates out and putting them in front of me.

“I might not be pregnant,” I mumble with my mouth full. “It may be stress, because of this Badger arsehole.”

Noni and Avy snort with laughter at my comment.

They grab the small bags I bought and start stuffing them with sweets and chocolates while I sit sulking. Once the bags are full, they pass them to me and I tape the ends up before adding them to the box on the chair next to me.

“Are you stressed and worried, Molly?” Noni enquiries with a tilt of her head as if she’s assessing me.

I shrug and toss another bag into the box, “Not really. I know that Draco and Navy won’t let anything happen to me and even if I did happen to get into trouble, I’ll just stab the fucker.”

Avy grins at me as she passes me another filled bag, “So, you’re knocked up then.”
