“Finn took her,” Bastian said at the same time.

Henry’s eyes shot up; instant rage filled them. “Finn.”

“Yes.” Bastian nodded. “We don’t know where they are. Garrick’s cousin, Ash, should have something for us soon.”

“Ashland Titon.” Henry thought for a moment. “Samuel’s son?”

“Yes.” Garrick clenched his teeth. Just hearing his uncle’s name made his spine stiffen.

“Ursa contacted me an hour ago.” Henry walked into the living room. “When I got home to find my daughter, and her things, gone, I tried to call her. It went to voice mail over and over again, but then Ursa called me.” He leveled his gaze on Bastian. “Why is Ariella here in Kassel and not safe at home in Caspian? You were supposed to watch out for her, Bastian.”

“I did watch out for her.” Bastian’s shoulders stiffened. Garrick stood behind him, ready to jump in if needed, but Bastian would have his head if he got involved too soon.

“Then why is she here?”

“Because after you destroyed all of her dreams, your sister was able to manipulate her. She’s here because Ursa gave her hope.” Bastian’s voice remained steady. “I came across her by accident.”

“And yet you’re still here, in his house, instead of bringing her home, where she’s safe.”

“Not safe.” Bastian shook his head. “She was a prisoner there.”

Henry’s eyes darkened.

“She is my daughter, and I will do what is best for her.” Henry snapped his gloves against his thigh.

Garrick’s phone dinged, and he turned away to check the message.

“I have an address.” He interrupted. “She has an estate right on the border of Kassel.” Garrick pulled his keys from his pocket.

“Give me the address.” Henry held out his hand.

“You can follow us.” Garrick shoved his phone into his pocket.

“Bastian.” Henry dropped his name like a bomb.

“Follow us.” Bastian hurried behind Garrick to the door.

Ursa’s estatewas clear across town, on the very edge of the city limits. Garrick's blood was hot when they pulled through the estate gates. If a single hair on her fucking head was so much out of place, he would burn the place to the ground.

“There.” Bastian pointed to the side road that took them up to the house.

“Henry.” Ursa appeared at the front door, grinning as they climbed the steps. “Your minions can stay outside.” She gestured to the two cars that pulled in behind Garrick’s. A dozen of Henry’s men had followed.

“Where’s Ariella?” Henry demanded, stepping onto the porch.

“She’s inside. Perfectly fine. You’ll see.” Ursa curled her fingers, beckoning them inside. “Come in.”

She moved aside to let them pass as though she were inviting them in for tea. Garrick’s jaw clenched when they were inside. The house was quiet. Three men stood at the bottom of the main staircase, hands folded in front of them. Garrick wouldn’t have any trouble getting past them, but he checked his impulse. He wasn’t about to do anything that might cause this crazy lady to do something to hurt Ariella.

“I’m here. Where is she?” Henry demanded when Ursa shut the front door.

“Before I have her brought down, I want to explain something to you, Henry.” Ursa glided past him into the sitting room. Henry followed her, his hands flexing at his sides. Bastian went with him, but Garrick stayed put. He could hear her from where he stood and see the stairs Ariella would presumably be coming down.

“Bring her down, Ursa. I want to see her.” Henry ordered.

Ursa chuckled. “This isn’t your home, Henry. You have no power here.” She went to a tray set up with a teapot and several porcelain cups. She poured tea into four of the cups and offered one to Henry.
