I’m pretty sure Nadia swoons a tiny bit. I can tell she’s trying not to seem too impressed, but the little stars dancing in her eyes say otherwise.

“You know the perfect woman doesn’t exist, right, Mr. Prince?”

I shrug, coasting my gaze across her perfect face, then down to her perfect cleavage. “You seem pretty damn perfect to me.” Thankfully, she doesn’t argue. I cup her face with both of my hands. “Nadia, that guy is crazy for not seeing how special you are.”

Her breathing stutters.

I continue. “If you were mine, I’d stop at nothing to make you happy. If you gave me a chance, I wouldn’t take that for granted. It would be my mission to make you smile every day of the week.” I lower my voice to a rumble. “To make you come every single night.”

She utters a little moan.

Nadia is all I see. Everything else in the room has faded to a gray blur.

I have no idea where this courage is coming from but I roll with it, I keep on talking. “And I may not be as experienced as most guys, but I’d take care of you, Nadia. I’d satisfy you like you’ve never been satisfied before.” Heat builds in my body as I tell her what kind of man I’d be for her. “I’d learn every thing you like. And then I’d practice it to perfection. I’d master the art of pleasing you. Until you feel brand new. Until you forget what it’s like to be with all those other losers who hurt you.”

Nadia sets both hands on my thighs, leaning into me. My heart is pounding as I lean into her.

“Harry, we can’t…” she tells me, even as her body says the exact fucking opposite.

“We can,” I shoot back. “Do you want to?”

“It’s not that simple. You can’t tell me that my reasons aren’t valid.”

“Your reasonsaren’tvalid,” I say stubbornly. “Fuck your reasons. You know as well as I do that this is happening. No point in fighting it now.”

Nadia’s eyes fuckingsparkleas her face tilts up to meet mine. So I claim those lips in a dirty, ravenous kiss. As soon as her lips part and she starts kissing me back, all bets are off.

I kiss her like her mouth is mine. I touch her like her body belongs to me. I don’t hold back. And she doesn’t stop me. Her buttercream fragrance fills my head as the lemon-vodka flavor on her tongue plunges me deeper into this drunkenness.

Nadia is panting when we finally pull apart.

And I realize, I’m panting, too.

“Now what?” I ask like an idiot.

Nadia doesn’t bat an eye as she pulls me closer. “Kiss me some more.”

I pull her close and sweep my mouth over hers again. There's a tightening sensation at my crotch. I can feel my cock hard as a rock against my zipper. My head is swimming. My brain feels like it's floating around inside a lemon-vodka aquarium.

She pulls back and takes my face in her warm little hands and I sway unsteadily toward her. "You're gorgeous, d'you know that?" She slurs quietly, her gaze slowly coasting across my face.

My heart does a ballerina-thing in my chest. Like, it spins around on it's tippy toes and then it leaps and soars through the air.

I play it all off with a joking tone. "Bask in it, baby. Drown in all my handsome glory."

Her laughter fades but the drunken twinkle in her eyes only grows brighter.

Shit—she really is the woman of my dreams. Everything I could ever want in the person I’ll share my life with. And I know this isn’t even a real date but just looking at her, I know everything I need to know.

Nadia is the only thing I’ll ever need. She’s everything.

She’s the one.

I grab her wrists, pulling her toward me. "Marry me."

Whoa! Where the hell did that come from?!

"What?" Horror slides over her face.
