With this plan, no one will ever forget our names. No one will ever doubt what we are capable of. Everyone will think twice before ever standing against us again.

We are going to steal all of Romano's support in the criminal underground in one night.

It's no longer enough to not be working against us. From this point forward, if you support Romano or his business, you're dead.

I run my eyes over her outfit and sigh again. "You know, this outfit is truly wasted on a moment where I hate it." She looks fucking stunning. Straight out of a wet dream and I can't even appreciate it because I hate how many other men will see her in it.

She chuckles, "They're all gonna die anyway, Stranger."

I shake my head at her. It still doesn't matter, and she damn well knows it. There's too much fear running through my veins to focus on how sexy she looks.

Romano is all about the show. He doesn't just put girls on auction and hope they sell well. Hell no. He primps them in preparation for his auctions. Every girl that crosses his stage is bathed, waxed, sprayed, and made up to be the very best version of themselves. Dressed in lingerie with perfect makeup and hair to emphasize their youth and sexuality. He puts all of them on display. Making sure to sell them for every dollar they are worth.

Scar stands in front of me in a sheer black number that at any other time, I would tear off of her. The little fabric there is, hardly covers anything, putting all of herself on display except for where the well placed black lines of the design hides her nipples and her slit. Just barely.

She has layers of thick costume makeup to cover all of her tattoos and scars, it's strange to see her without them. I almost don't even recognize her. Her ink has become a part of her. One of my favorite parts about her. A story of pain and strength and violence written on her skin for all to see.

I move away from her as Noah takes my place. He's just as unhappy as I am about all of this. Not that any of us are truly happy about it. Even Holden, Ian, and Ty are giving her looks full of uncertainty. And it’s not because of our roles in any of this.

The rest of the plan is flawless. We are all willing soldiers ready to march at her orders. It's only her role that has all of us questioning not only her sanity but our own as well. After the amount of time, we’ve spent discussing every moment of this plan, you’d think we’d have more confidence in it. But talking about something and seeing the consequences with your own eyes are two very different things.

All of the nerves, fears, and doubts we first had when she brought up this plan have come rushing back to the forefront of my mind as we get ready to implement it. The worst part is, it’s too late to change our minds now. To change her mind.

Noah kisses her softly, whispering something in her ear that causes a different type of heat to burn in her eyes. I smirk watching the two of them, taking note to make sure I get a good seat for whatever he has planned for her after this mess. I have a good feeling he's going to spank her firm ass for this plan, regardless of how successful it is.

Ryder takes his place and runs his fingers up her thighs, carefully checking the knives strapped in her garter belts on the fronts of both legs. "It's strange to see them here," he comments. He isn't wrong either. Scar always keeps her knives on the outer sides of her thighs, in her back waistband, and one between her tits.

"I know," she reassures him as she squeezes his hand in hers. "It's the best place to keep them hidden for this though."

Fuck. So many things can go wrong. Her timing is going to have to be perfect. All of our timing will have to be. It seems too risky.

Ryder sighs as he drops a kiss to her forehead and Declan moves in between them.

"Scarlett, have you really thought this through?" he pushes her.

I have to give her credit, she hasn't snapped at any of us. Even though we've already had this fight. The Scar from a year ago would have stormed off from me and Luca by now.

"We've all thought it through, D. We've talked it out and every moment is detailed and planned. We are going to work in sync, and this is going to work. No one will ever forget our name and what we do here today. Romano will have no choice but to run, to hide. Like I was forced to do all those years ago. And then the real hunt starts."

"You know you're crazy right?"

She grins up at him. "Absolutely unhinged." I snort a laugh and I'm not the only one. It's clear as day just how amped up she is to be doing this. There's no doubt or hesitation in her. Not an ounce of it.

If anything, that's the reason why I think we are all following through with the plan. She's no longer dancing with death. Just waiting for her demons to take hold of her.

She has too much to love, too much to fight for to give in now.

Her excitement comes from a place of knowing this move will be what marks our victory in this war. It may not end it, but it will change the tides. Give us a big enough foothold that we can move on to the second part of our plan.

She isn't doing this to play a game with her life now. She's doing it to win a war. To make sure everyone knows just who the fuck owns St Graves. Make this town a place where all of our kids can grow up safe from the demons that have tormented us.

Luca is the last to walk up to her, an air of restraint and determination tightly wrapped around him. "Here," he says as he hands her not one, but two grenades. I whistle and she gets a manic glint in her eye. If I didn't love her so much, I wouldn't trust her with those damn things.

Hell.

I'm not sure I trust her now even though I love the fuck out of her. She looks a little too damn eager as she wraps her hands around them.

"Your timing has to be perfect," he reminds her. She gives him a clipped nod, staring in awe at the grenades in her hand. I know damn well it isn't the first time she's seen them. I think she's just ecstatic she finally gets to use them.
