I pull all the way out of her, until only the tip of my dick is still in her and then thrust all the way in again. Over and over. Fucking her hard and steady. Making sure she chokes around Noah every time I hit her deeply.

I release one hand and use my thumb to collect some of her come. I bring it back to her and spread her cheeks again, biting down on my lip as she clenches around me. I rub my thumb over her ass, coating her hole in her own come. I go slowly, making sure she’s aware of my intentions, but there’s no sign of her tensing up.

She moans around Noah, gagging again when he bucks his hips, and his cock slides down the back of her throat.

I work my thumb into her ass, moving slowly so she can pull back at any time. I’m well aware that it’s something that has triggered her in the past. As soon as I get my thumb in, I groan at how much tighter she feels around my cock. I start to thrust into her faster.

She lets out another long and slow moan, Noah curses as he comes down her throat. He keeps holding her up as I start to piston my hips faster, fucking her harder now that she’s not going to suffocate on Noah.

He reaches behind him and detaches the shower head from the wall again. He brings it between her legs and lets it hit her clit once more as I fuck her from behind. It doesn’t take long at all for her to be screaming and spasming around me.

I rock into her even harder, the sound of skin slapping bringing me a sick sense of satisfaction as her cunt milks my cock. I grunt as I bury myself to the hilt in her and come. Rolls of pleasure rock through my body.

I slip out of her and pull her back against my chest, holding her to me and breathing in the scent that is so uniquely her. I could get lost in it forever. Breathe nothing else but her.

Noah adjusts the shower head to a more gentle setting and begins to wash her off. I grab a washcloth from him and begin to help. She laughs as she melts into both of our touches. No sign of her earlier tension any longer.

This state of relaxation won’t last for long. She will be back on the warpath soon. But at least it will be with a clear mind and her emotions in check.

“Areyou guysgoing to go see the kids today?” Ian asks as he jumps out of the ring we have in our gym. None of us intended to do a full workout today, so we decided to just meet here at the house.

It worked out a little easier since the rest of us are going to have a busy next couple of days so it was necessary to take it easy today.

“Yeah,” I tell him. “We just have a meeting with Rachel before we can head over there.” My eyes flick over to Jade where she’s sitting and talking to Holden and Kade.

Another shipment of Rachel’s has gone missing, and I agreed to help her figure out a way to make up her losses. It’s not like I didn’t know Jade was going to be here when I agreed to the meeting, but Jade has been sitting on the fact that Rachel is her sister.

It’s okay for her to not be sure about how she wants to move forward. Rachel promised to follow her lead in that regard. But I figure there’s no harm in helping facilitate their paths crossing.

Especially when we all have so much work to be doing together. Rachel and Alec spend an increasing amount of time here every week. Between updates, planning, and coordinating our next moves, we see each other every few days as it is. Now, we are going to have to spend even more time together to get creative and find a way to make up the difference from this latest lost shipment.

I know the two of us are more than capable. I’ve actually come to really enjoy working with her. She often views things from a very different perspective than I do. It gives an entire new approach to some of our biggest issues. This latest bump doesn’t concern me enough to truly worry that we may not be able to bounce back.

We all know Romano is behind the missing drugs. We’ve discarded a few moles, but not one of them explains how he got the information about her deliveries. She’s lost a lot of man power because of it.

Is it luck? Or is someone feeding him information? If it is someone who is giving him the information, is it someone on her payroll? Or on one of her suppliers?

Huh. We hadn’t considered that before, but that might help put some of the pieces together. He isn’t hitting her very often. He’s only managed to get three shipments when she’s had about fifteen other ones. Two of the ones he did get his hands on were also pretty small. This last one? Well, that one not so much.

Ian nods his head as his eyes wander back to me from Jade. “She’ll be good,” he says in a much quieter voice than he had been using previously. He speaks with such certainty though, I can’t help but have at least a bit of my worry eased. He’s probably closer to her than any of us at this point.

I hadn't wholly intended to play matchmaker with the two of them when I assigned him bodyguard duty, but could anyone blame me if I did after the scene I had walked into? No. The answer is no.

I just helped nudge them along in the right direction. Even if they still haven’t really taken any steps to solidify that. I pause and rove my eyes over Ian in an assessing manner. At least not that I know of. Hmm. I study Jade, stopping to listen in on her and Kade talking books. Nah, I don’t think they’ve done anything more than been friends. Yet.

I get the feeling it’s coming, sooner or later. How could it not with the way he looks at her? She might be oblivious, but no one else is. Except for, well… My eyes lock onto the other guy in the room whose eyes seem glued to my girl, J. Holden may be as clueless as she is about Ian’s feelings.

Kade catches my eye and smirks. We are on the same wavelength, but he seems smug as he winks at me. What’s that about?

I clear my throat. “Jade, is Kade still letting you read his books?” I ask from across the room, noting his suspicious look as I do. Good. The fuck is he so smug about? “Cause, you know, I tried to read one of his books once and he damn near bit my head off for it.”

Kade scoffs, Holden and Ian look confused, but Jade seems almost bemused. “You don’t say,” she responds, dragging each word out. Laughter lines her voice as Kade gives her a warning look.

The other guys come back into the room with drinks for everyone. Noah looks around the room before sitting down next to me, taking in the strange atmosphere. “What are you guys talking about?”

I shrug, throwing another look at Kade and Jade. Not that he notices as he’s still trying to silently communicate with her, but she’s too busy smiling in my direction. “Why Kade lets Jade read his books and not me.”

Collective ooos sound throughout the room. Kade tosses his hands in the air. “It was one book, Scar. One book!”
