I splutter, water dribbling down my chin. Chase looks at me with a shit-eating grin.

"Bingo. I got it in two."

"I don't know what you're talking about," I grumble, wiping my mouth and stalking past him to the couch.

I plop myself down, hastily grabbing the remote and turning the tv on.

"Oh no you don't," Chase says, snatching it from my hand and turning it off. "I want details."

"There's no details to give," I defend, trying to grab it back.

He holds it out of reach, waggling his eyebrows at me. "Come on, Hurricane. Your face is as red as a sunburn. Be confident and accept it."

My eyes lock with his before slowly turning to a near-laughing Beau in the background. "Shut up, Beau."

"It's just head. It's not so bad."

Chase claps his hands. "It's a great start. Was it better than anal pimple? Did you come?"

I bite down on my tongue, turning away from them. "Yes," I growl.

The couch bounces as Chase jumps over the top of it and lands next to me. "And? Did you like it?"

My face flushes again. I try my best to ignore him but he stares at me intently, waiting for an answer. Realizing he's not going to let up, I give a little nod.

"Great!" he all but yells, slapping me on the back like a job well done. "See – much better than this running business I heard you were trying to do this morning."

I shoot Beau a dirty look for revealing my embarrassing secrets. He holds up his hands in defense before heading off towards the bathroom, laughing.

There's no sign of Jax yet so I'm left with an excited Chase, who looks like he just woke up and found out Santa had been.

"Come on, Addie. It's just us now. You can tell me. Think of me like your bestie."

I snort. "Are you going to fuck my boyfriend as well?"

Chase groans in disgust. "No. But I'm here to be your cheerleader and support. Do you feel less stressed?"

"I feel more stressed because of this conversation," I grumble. There's no malice in my voice and Chase nods.

"Just consider what we said. I think it would really help you."

I glare at him accusingly. "Did you know he was going to do that?"

He shakes his head. "No. But to be fair, I'm glad he did. Now it gives you some insight into what we are trying to tell you."

There's something about his face that makes it hard to stay annoyed at, my resolve crumbling. "I liked it," I finally admit quietly. "It was different from what I had experienced before."

"Good," he nods encouragingly. "You still don't have to do it, but at least consider it. Or if you don't want to do that, we can always try Tinder again."

My body shivers at the thought. "Maybe. I'll think about it. I can't make any promises, but I'll at least think about it."

Itakeawalkthat afternoon to get out of the apartment. I decide to wander onto campus for a look. Classes start in three days so it's getting busy as people prepare.

It seems most people have arrived and are spending their last few days of freedom enjoying the sun and catching up with friends.

The quad is busy, people sitting on benches and laying on blankets as they soak up the sun.

It's nearly the weekend and no doubt people will be heading out to the nightclub, getting their last fix before we all have to knuckle down and start caring about grades.
