My eyes shift to Beau and Jax who also give me encouraging nods and a thumbs up. I swallow, standing up and giving the man a small smile. "Sure."

He grins, grabbing my hand and starts leading me onto the dance floor. I peek over my shoulder at the three guys, surprised to find them grinning and beaming with pride.

Their support means a lot, and I suddenly feel like I can do anything. We stop in the middle of the crowd of people, the guy facing me and putting his hands on my hips.

"I'm Benjamin," he yells over the music.

"Addison," I shout, putting my hands awkwardly on his shoulders.

That's the extent of our introductions, the music blaring. The two of us dance to the rhythm, doing our best not to bump into surrounding people. I manage to last three songs before I need a break and I motion to Benjamin that I'm going to go sit down. He reaches into his pocket, retrieving his cell and motions for me to put my number in.

I take the cell gingerly, taken aback by his request. I haven't been asked for my number since I met Aaron. Even then, guys in high school never asked me.

I type the numbers in and save it, handing him the cell back before pushing back through the crowd of people towards the booth.

When I return to the table, I notice our drinks have been refreshed, the guys chatting amongst themselves.

"How was it?" asks Beau, pushing a new drink towards me.

"Good," I nod. "He asked for my number."

Chase hits the table in excitement. "You're killing it. Now, we need to do it again. But first, I want to dance with you."

Chapter 16

Chaseleadsmebackto the floor, despite my pleas to sit down because my feet feel like they are going to fall off. He laughs in response, pulling me against him as he sways us to the music.

"You'll be fine. It's a good stamina workout. Though, I also have ideas for other workouts," he says in my ear.

I blush, digging my nails into his shoulder. "I don't think I'll have the energy to do anything like that tonight."

His hand trails down my back, grabbing my ass again. "Tomorrow then. But who knows? Maybe you'll find someone here tonight."

"Not likely," I laugh.

As we move to the music, my eyes trail the crowd. A familiar face stands out and I tense up as I spot Maxine dancing on the other side of the room.

"Max is here," I yell to Chase.

He follows my line of vision. "The brunette? Bless her heart." he snips, rolling his eyes.

I nod. "Looks like she's dancing with someone."

Her head and body are blocking the other individual and for some reason, I can't tear my eyes away. They spin around when the music shifts and my mouth falls open.

"It's Aaron," I say through clenched teeth.

I've never seen Aaron enter a nightclub. He always said they were for pathetic people with no control. I'm not sure why it bothers me, but watching him look at her like he used to look at me, sends a new wave of hurt through my chest.

He cups her face, leaning down to kiss her heatedly, blissfully unaware of my burning gaze.

Chase tenses up next to me, his eyes also glued to the couple.

I'm three seconds away from turning around and running when something shocking happens. Another guy approaches them, pulling Max into a heated kiss as well.

Mine and Chase's mouths drop slightly at the same time, my eyes shifting to Aaron to gauge his reaction. I expect him to be angry, lose his temper like he did with me. But he just watches them lazily, unfazed.

Maxine takes turns, switching between the two of them as they dance. I'm not sure what comes over me, but before I can stop myself, my legs charge forward, pushing through the crowd towards them.
