Jax, Beau and Chase look at each other in confusion before jogging towards me.

"Thank God," I moan, stopping and letting them close the distance between us.

"What the hell are you doing?" Chase asks, eyes wide as he takes in my hunched figure.

I wave my hand at him. "Give me… a … minute."

Behind me I can hear the coach yelling to the guys. Beau waves at him to wait, looking down at me in grave concern.

"Why are you on the track running?" he questions.

I straighten up. It's now or never really.

"Because I think I like you guys. Why else would I be running?"

Chase snorts before cracking up into a fit of laughter. "Were you chasing after us to tell us that?"

"Yes," I puff.

Jax steps beside me, putting his hand on my back and adjusting my posture. "Take deep breaths. In through the mouth and out through the nose."

"What do you mean 'like us'?" Beau asks.

"I mean… crazy, obsessed… kind of falling in love… vibes. I don't care if you don't feel the same. But please don't shut me out again," I beg, looking at the three of them.

Beau's face softens as he steps forward, pulling me in for a hug. "You are the reason storms are named after people, Hurricane."

Chase grabs my hand, pulling me off the track as the coach stalks towards us. "And the reason we're about to get our ass kicked."

Chapter 24

"Okay, what'sthisabout?"Beau asks as the four of us step inside the apartment.

After being scolded by the coach, they managed to convince him to let them finish early. I could tell giving in to the request was the lesser of two evils because it meant getting the insane girl off the track.

"Look, I blame your sister. It was her idea," I start.

Jax raises his eyebrows, his lips tugging into a smirk. "I'm not surprised. Chrizzy is a drama queen. She's always been the bold type."

Beau sighs, rubbing his forehead. "Addie, what do you mean you like us?"

I look to Chase for support, the usually bubbly one leaning against the wall watching our exchange like it's Gossip Girl drama.

"I think I'm falling in love with you. All of you," I mumble. "I don't want to date anyone anymore. I just want to date… you. All of you, somehow."

Beau walks past me, sitting on the couch. "How would we make it work?"

I turn around, looking at him. "I don't know. You guys are supposed to be the dating experts."

Chase grins. "It's true. We are. I suppose we could all date you. But I'm not crossing swords with you pair. Even if you are handsome men. Bless your hearts."

Jax rolls his eyes, ignoring Chase. "I have no issue with this. As long as it doesn't get awkward."

"I don't want it to get awkward either," I say, walking over to Beau.

Beau watches me intensely, his mind turning. "This is just some ploy to get off the couch again? My bed is pretty comfortable."

A smile breaks free as I laugh. "Definitely. So, what do you say, Beau?"
