Chase slips out of me, his body slumping over the end of the couch as his hand rests on my lower back.

"Fuck," he groans, slowly falling to his knees.

The four of us find a comfortable position, our naked bodies cooling down as we come back to Earth. I roll over, laying with my head in Jax's lap and my feet dangling over the edge while Beau sits on the ground next to me.

My arm hangs off the side of the couch, and Beau links his fingers through mine, leaning down to kiss my knuckles.

"I think we're going to be able to make it work," he mumbles against my hand.

I nod weakly, my eyes closed. "Good. Because a girl shouldn't have to choose if she doesn't want to."

Epilogue - Three Years Later

"Weturnlivenowto our reporter on the scene, Addison Hollard. Addison, what can you tell us about these exciting new announcements?"

I listen to the smooth voice in my ear, feeding through the earpiece. I nod, looking at the camera in front of me.

"Well, Matilda, the US is a very competitive country when it comes to our sports. Today, the state of Texas's Track and Field Association announced their selected teams. Sixty-six talented individuals across a wide range of sports including football, swimming, baseball and field, received the state's highest honor. As you know, state individuals compete at National level where they have the chance to be selected for other events such as National Olympic teams. Standing behind me are some of our amazing athletes."

The camera pans behind me, rolling along the dozen individuals lined up. I walk up to the first person in line.

"Here, we have Jessica Collins – a representative swimmer. Jess, how do you feel about today's announcements and selection?"

I hold the microphone up, smiling at the young girl who is nearly in tears as she talks about how she always dreamed of being here. When she's done, I walk a little further down the line, grinning as I reach the next interviewees.

"Next up, we have three extraordinary, force of nature runners – Beau Edwards, Jax Edwards and Chase Sawyers."

The three guys grin at me, their eyes shining as I pass them the microphone, asking questions as the camera focuses on us. I do my best to keep myself composed, my own emotions threatening to send me into an excited mess. When I got the call from them earlier, I screamed down the cell line, jumping up and down. So, when my boss asked me to head to the Association Headquarters with our camera crew to report on it, I was more than willing.

"As a proud Texan, I think I speak for all of us when I congratulate these talented athletes. I can't wait to see what they achieve moving forward in their sports. Back to you in the studio, Matilda."

I wait for the signal from the cameraman, breaking my on-camera persona when the live feed is cut.

Arms wrap around me from behind, lifting me up and spinning me around. I let out a squeal, laughing as I find the three guys pulling me in for a hug.

"I'm so proud of you," I tell them, beaming at the three guys dressed in official sports gear. "All that hard work has finally paid off."

"And we're proud of you," Beau comments, leaning down to kiss me. "Badass anchor woman in the flesh."

I laugh, tugging down my business jacket. "Do I look professional?"

Chase circles me, scanning my outfit. "You look perfect. Who dressed you?"

"I did, of course. The team stylist was more than happy to let me pick my own outfit. I told her I had lots of experience and have been taught well."

He grins, sneaking in a kiss before running off to tackle another team member.

I walk over to Jax, straightening up his sports jacket. "Well, don't you look handsome?"

"I told you I'm the better looking one," he smirks, ignoring Beau's disagreement.

I reach up, my finger tip grazing his freckle. "You are all equally handsome. I think we should celebrate tonight."

"What do you have in mind?" he asks, holding my waist.

"Pizza, beers and some cardio," I whisper. "You can show me how well all that training has been paying off."

The last few years have been intense, but easily the best so far. The guys graduated the year before me, heading off to a training academy in between working. Jax and Beau help out with their parents' company as planned, while Chase now runs his own side business building websites. Besides that, they dedicate every other spare minute to training.
