“Yes, yes, daddy,” I moan as he drags his cock at the right angle, hitting all the right spots.

“Fuck, you were made for me, baby.” He tilts my neck to the side with his thumb. “Will you offer me your blood just as you do your sweet body?”

“Yes.”

He grins wickedly and dives forward. I shudder when he drinks. His hips never stop as he pulls from my neck, groaning. I’m flying in pleasure, never wanting to come down. Euphoria floods through every nerve in my body.

He rips his teeth from me and speeds up. The bars strain, and the bed hits the wall. I lunge forward, puncturing his shoulder, taking from him.

“Shit, come, baby,” he grunts. His hips jerked roughly. “Cover me with your come.”

With his warm blood flowing down my throat, I do as he commanded. I come hard, heat shooting from me to him. He shouts to the ceiling, his head thrown back and his hips working filling me. I shatter around him.

I lick his neck lazily, healing the bite marks, and my head drops. I feel tugging at my hands, and then I’m free. I feel his hands on my back as he cradles me close. His rapid heartbeat is pounding in my ear as he climbs onto the bed and spreads me over him, still connected in the most intimate way.

“Bash,” I start but decide I have no words to say. I don’t know how to describe to him the way I feel after the way he loved me.

“Thank you for trusting me,” he rumbles.

“You don’t need to thank me,” I say.

“I was wrong,” he says.

“What do you mean?” I ask, confused.

“It is big enough,” he says but hesitates.

“Bash?”

“My heart is big enough.” My breathing stops. “I just had to borrow yours until you taught me how to grow.” He tightens his arms.

“Sebastian,” I sob.

“I love you,” he says softly.

I push up to look into his eyes. His sincerity shines in them as tears gather in mine. “I love you too. Your heart was always big enough. I’m so lucky you allowed me to sneak inside.”

I fall onto him, kissing him with all the passion and love he inspires me to give, knowing I will always have a home inside his heart.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Bash

How the fuck did this happen? I’m having a party. I’ve never had a party. My place has been invaded with people and laughter. Marie invited everyone. Ryker and Serenity showed up early to help set up. They sat together on a lounge chair on the balcony, watching everyone interact. Ryker’s hand was rubbing her stomach lovingly with a soft look on his face. I never thought I would see the day that my stern, fierce friend would find such happiness.

Ava came with Kerian and River. River was, of course, at the food table, his plate piled high. Kerian talked with Logan, who also came, his eyes never straying far from his mate.

Harmony was propped up on the pillows her mates brought for her. She was arguing with Jax about him being too overprotective. James and Blue were at a safe distance from them, trying to hide their humor.

Everyone had a drink in their hand, and the music was loud. I even have a bear in my space; Quinn accepted Marie’s invite, much to my regret. I am still angry with him, but Marie likes him. I’ll have to get over it since, in a week, I will be working with him. Marie wants to go back to work, and Quinn wants to expand the business, so we will be a package deal. The job fits with the work I have been doing, and we’re going to incorporate my mission into the business. I grudgingly admit he’s a good guy. He’s quiet and grouchy, but we have that in common.

The only ones we were missing were Bishop and Penny, who we invited, but Penny declined, and Bishop wasn’t answering my calls. I’m curious about his odd behavior. I asked River what was going on and he just shrugged and claimed his calls were also going unanswered.

My mind is still trying to cope with the knowledge that Marie’s parents are my contacts. I spoke with them earlier. They are still in town but decided to take in the sights and have a romantic evening. It is a struggle to get to know them as people and not a distant entity over cryptic texts and messages. I have to acknowledge the bizarre twist of fate in the story of Marie and me. We have been on this path to each other much longer than either of us knew. It solidifies the universe’s plan to put us together.

Last night, I was hesitant to use my rope on Marie. The last thing I wanted to do was traumatize her more, but she proved me wrong. Besides the second of fear, she welcomed my control. Being with her after confessing my feelings was easy, and I felt like it was meant to be.

My mate was barefoot, wearing a sparkly red dress. The thin straps holding it onto her body gave me an idea of taking it off with my teeth later. The red enhanced the color throughout her tattoos. Her head was thrown back, her laughter bathing everyone with joy as she danced with Ava. She was stunning. She was a revelation. I meant every word I spoke last night. The amount of love she showered on me opened my heart.
