“Then you must think hard and long on the matter,” said Hatter, before clinking his teacup against hers. “When you figure it out, do let me know.”

“I will.”

“What do you think about our mad little tea party?”

“There’s nothing little about it,” I said under my breath so only Chess could hear me. I heard him laugh to himself. Then we watched as Alice’s pupils dilated and a flush spread across her cheeks. The room seemed to shimmer and distort around us, as if we were watching her watching Wonderland through a kaleidoscope.

All around us, the party guests continued with their twisted games, their raucous laughter mixing with moans and gasps of pleasure. As Alice's senses sharpened, I watched as she became more aware of the debauchery surrounding her, and I could tell by the way she squirmed in her chair that both curiosity and arousal stirred within her.

"Chess," she said, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of the party. "I want to try some of the food, but...I'm afraid of what will happen.”

“Relax, darling. Fear is just another form of excitement," Chess replied, running a hand through her hair. "And here, in this world, fear and desire go hand in hand. Trust me, Alice. Trust Hatter. He’s an old friend of mine, and he won't let any harm come to you. We'll guide you through the chaos."

“That’s right, Alice,” Hatter said, grinning seductively at her. “Embrace the madness.”

His words seemed to soothe her somewhat, and she hesitantly reached for a delectable cupcake sitting on a tall, tiered tray in front of her. I couldn't help but smirk as I watched her trying to make sense of it all. It was about time someone shook up her pampered life.

Then her little wet, pink tongue slid out of her mouth, licking at the soft white frosting. Finally she sank her teeth into it, filling her mouth with the sweetness. A need to dominate her took hold of me, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of envy to be that chocolate cupcake. In about thirty seconds, she was going to be hot and flushed and wanting to either fight...

...or fuck.

When the magic kicked in, it looked like she wanted to do both.

My kind of woman.

Damn it, she was something else—a mix of innocence and depravity that I found almost impossible to resist.

But for now, I'd have to bide my time and watch as she navigated the twisted Wonderland we called home. And who knew, maybe one day soon, I'd get a taste of Alice myself.

I watched as she stared wide-eyed at the surreal scene before her, a mixture of fascination and terror painted across her beautiful face. The tea party was in full swing, a cacophony of moans, laughter, and the clinking of porcelain cups filling the air.

"Feeling out of your depth, Alice?" I asked, taking a drag from my cigarette and letting the fruity pink smoke curl around me. "Afraid you don't have what it takes to survive here?"

Her eyes narrowed, and I could see the fire of defiance flicker within them. "I'm not afraid," she spat back, though I knew better.

"Really? You can hardly handle this little tea party. How will you manage when the real fuckery begins?" I taunted, smirking at her mounting frustration.

"Callister,” Chess scolded, but I ignored him. He was too busy playing the protective friend.

“You’re allowing yourself to remain blind to the fact that Alice needs to be pushed if she’s going to discover her true potential,” I countered. “Have you even bothered to see what she’s capable of?”

“We’re working on it,” Chess answered, yet I could tell I’d hit a nerve. That pleasure-seeking feline demon was probably too busy trying to seduce Alice to bother teaching her how to use the Vorpal Sword...if she ever found it.

“Show me what you can do,” Hatter said before Chess and I could start bickering. Harry the March Hare even stopped fucking Violet long enough to watch as Alice’s bright blue dress melted into purple, and then red.

Hatter’s eyes, wild with crazed curiosity, locked onto her.

“Charming as that trick is, my dear, it's clear you havemuchto learn. The good news is that I believe you have more power within you than you realize. Allow me to help you embrace the darker side of your imagination."

Alice hesitated, glancing between Chess and Hatter, uncertainty etched on her features. She bit her lip, considering his offer, and I couldn't deny the surge of jealousy that coursed through me at the thought of her accepting his guidance.

It was Chess who broke the silence, his voice as smooth and seductive as ever. "Go on, Alice," he urged her, his green eyes flickering with something akin to excitement. "The Mad Hatter's offer is a rare one. I believe it will help you find your purpose here in Wonderland."

"Fine," Alice said finally, her voice wavering only slightly. "I'll do it." The Mad Hatter clapped his hands together gleefully, his attraction to Alice palpable. Even amidst all the madness, it was obvious that he desired her.

"Excellent!" he exclaimed, jumping up from his seat at the head of the table. "Let's begin right away! You can be our entertainment!”

As Chess joined Alice and the Mad Hatter, I couldn't help but feel a sting of jealousy. She was so eager to please them both, and so eager to irritate me.
