Sitting at the bar, I watched as Lilia was smiling and laughing at something one of the ole ladies was saying. She was having a really good day. “Any word from her ‘family’?”
“Nope, but then me showing up to family dinner with her did seem to scare the shit out of them.”
“If they do, I call dibs on taking her to family dinner.”
I looked at Razor shocked. Then the image of the looks on their faces at seeing him and I started to laugh. “Okay, Okay… yeah that would be awesome, but only if you talk about ball dissecting and the blood eagle ritual. I would stand in the hallway just to hear their reactions to that shit.”
Lilia smiled at us as she approached. “Should I be worried to find the two of you smiling and laughing?”
I pulled her into my arms and chuckled as I told her, “We have a new plan for Shock and Awe.”
“Oh and just how do you plan to scare the shit out of my parents and brother?”
