“One more time? Each?” I grin, and both men groan, but I can tell it's half-hearted. “Put your hard cocks away then, if you don’t want to put them inside me.”

“We’ve created a horny monster,” Isaiah teases.

“Very horny,” I agree.

Tomorrow this might all end, but tonight? Tonight they’re all mine.

CHAPTERTHIRTY

It’s been four days since the power turned back on, and the guys went to check on their own homes. It’s a sunny Monday when I walk into the coffee shop.

“Hotcakes!” I am swooped up into a hug as Jer spins me around like I weigh nothing.

“Hi,” I giggle as he sets me back on my feet.

“Bluebird,” Zach says as he sits in our usual spot.

“I was hoping I’d get to see you both. I have to head to work in just a few, but I wanted to invite you to dinner tonight since the storm ruined our other plans,” I ask hopefully.

“We’re booked pretty solid this week because of the storm. What about this weekend?” Zach reaches across the table, taking my hand in his. “We’ll plan everything?” he offers, and I smile.

“Okay, Friday night? Christmas Eve, is that okay?”

“Meet us here after work?” Jer grins like a madman, and I agree easily.

I head to the bookstore after that, surprisingly excited to see Elijah. When I step inside, my smile only grows. There’s a small tree with waiting decorations, and the entire store smells like a real tree exploded in here. There’s fake snow on the window, and Christmas music playing on the speakers. I head to the back in search of Eli. I’m wearing my charms, and a tight green dress under my massive jacket.

I shrug it off, revealing the dress, sheer white tights that sparkle, and my knee-high black boots. I drove here in the company car after Anton and Isaiah dropped it off last night. I’d invited them in, but they both had to get things ready for the work week.

“Oh, hell,” Eli says when he sees me. The dress is a deep green, made of velvet, but I’m wearing a long sleeve black turtleneck under the spaghetti strap dress. It shows my curves, but I’m not showing any skin. Just a peek under the tights.

“What?” I ask, I frown at the dress, worried it doesn’t look as good as I was hoping.

“You look like Santa’s wet dream.” His words make me laugh loudly, snorting because he caught me off guard with that joke.

“So you like it?” I ask when the giggles die down.

“Very much.” The front door jingles, letting us know we have customers, and I rush to the front to greet them.

Only it’s empty. I frown. Peeking out the front door, I search for the runaway customer, in case they assumed we just weren't here.

“Weird,” I mumble, shaking off the uneasy feeling. I take my place behind the register and start unloading the box of books I recently ordered.

I check each one, then place the price on the back over the barcode. I jot the number down for inventory, then count the books on the shelf to the furthest left wall. Time passes in a blur of joy as I do a job I never thought I’d love so much.

Eli emerges from the back after a while, looking at the sales book.

“Thirty books?” he asks, eyebrows up. I nod.

“Book club,” I chuckle. “Each lady bought three. Apparently, they’re fast readers and meet three times a week.” I shake my head. “I can only read one book a week. I’m slow.”

“I never used to. I googled ‘What books should a bookstore owner read.’” He smirks. “The list was very long. I don’t feel any smarter. Thankfully, I have you.”

“True!” I wink, and he leans over the counter, watching me write the titles of some books I think we should order.

“Want to go to the drive-in with me tonight? There’s a Christmas movie playing. We can go to dinner after?” Eli asks, and I pretend to think about it.

“Hmm, I don’t know. Won’t it be cold?” I ask, and he nods.
